The pizza was really good and the flight was relatively inexpensive. A casual dinner restaurant. Windows that open to the street level which would be cool for summer. Kind of a usual spot.

Nice looking bar/restaurant with a small patio. Bar area can get extremely crowded and loud during busy periods. The crowd is mostly yuppie sorts, which is typical of Rockville. Service is solid, considering how mobbed the bar can get. The beer selection is decent, with five-ish regular beers and rotating seasonals. The beer are all German styles, which is pretty limiting in terms of variety. Prices are fair, and happy hour discounts are decent.

Young corporate crowd, yuppie meat market, that sort of thing. Outdoor patio and bar area is nice but again, the suburban corporate crowd just ruins the place. Beer quality as expected for GB - good but not great, including some flawless but boring recipes (wit, weizen, lager).

This is a nice place to get a drink. They have a cheap happy hour special starting at 10 P.M., which makes food and beer pretty cheap. That is why the value is soo high. I had a good chicken sandwich with a Marzen BBQ sauce which was good. Service was spotty, but it was ’happy hour’.

This chain makes some pretty decent beers, nothing special, but a lot are pretty good. Best thing here are the garlic fries.

pretty much the same as all the others in the chain. they brew their own mediocre beer. the food is kickass though. fries are amazing. service was good. would be a nice place for a lunch or dinner date, but don’t go expecting to get great beer. it’s better beer than bud, miller, etc, but it’s not that great. their porter’s their best in my opinion. go for the food, not the brew.
