February 24, 2011 This is a typical Gordon Biersch with the exception that the waitresses were gorgeous. They were a little too attentive and wanted to turn the table over quicker in an open restaurant after lunch. Beers are normal 5 plus seasonal. Food was decent, pulled pork was good, friends fish tacos "didnt sit well". |

April 26, 2010 I don’t care much for the beer. The beer is not bad, but just too standard for me. Does not hold water to local micro brews like Alewerks. However, this is a beautiful brew pub. They have great waitstaff and are very happy to take your on a tour of the brewery if they have the time. I go here mainly for the food. The food is fanatstic with an elegant setting for a place to take the wife while getter to have a beer or two. |

December 23, 2009 The selection is limited as they are a brew pub, but the food is good. I don’t really care for there brews much. The Oktober fest is the best IMO |

July 20, 2009 My first visit to a Biersch. Located in a convenient part of town but one that has a chain store vibe. Inside is comfortable and they have ample outside seating. Food was messy and not well put together, but tasty. The pizza my drinking companion put together looked decent, but of course I didn’t taste it. The beer is cheap, but overall average with one or two standouts. They won’t fill outside growlers but theirs are cheap. Service was friendly and showed an average level of competency. I timed it well, but it looks like parking could get tricky. Worth a stop if you got the time. |

February 18, 2008 Very busy when i went. Business professional feel. Tasty beers. I was in a real hurry so the bartender gave me a sampler platter of 3 beers and didn’t even charge me. I would definately go back to get the full experience |

November 14, 2007 Ate here on a Saturday afternoon with the wife on a mini-vacation. Nice upscale casual atmosphere. I had the sampler followed by a couple of pints with the food, all beers were quite solid German styles. We both had a seasonal sausage sampler. Sausages were very good, and the garlic smashed potatoes were excellent. Should note that GB makes most of their food from scratch as opposed to simply reheating in the kitchen, and you can tell the difference. Very good service as well. The manager let us know that one is scheduled to open up in Richmond very near our house, which I am quite psyched about. Recommended stop in this area. |

November 4, 2007 Favorite place in VB. Favorite Seasonal is Festbier (Sep - Oct), Regular is Marzen. Also enjoy mix of Schwazbeir and Marzen for somewhat of Black and Tan. Enjoy the menu. Large hamburgers.. Chilean Seabass is awesome, so is Halibut Oscar. |

April 15, 2007 Typical "upscale" trendy resturant. Nice classic atmosphere, though lighting might be lower than what some people might like. Crowed like nothing else, but only had a 25 or so minute wait which wasn’t too bad for a Saturday Night. Service was good, even though the waitress mixed up some of the beers on the sampler (to her credit she was dealing with 18 small glasses for our table). Simple switch with the hefe and czech. Food was pretty good, but deffinately was "city priced." Thought the Schwarzbier was the best of the bunch. |
