I’ve been to several Granite Cities, and I’ve never come away impressed. The food can be a somewhat hit and miss, and the beer comes across as somewhat uninspired. It’s certainly a step up from the normal chain restaurant stuff, but there’s other places I would rather spend my money. The one redeeming factor is that they do put together a killer Sunday Brunch, so if you spend the night in Legends be sure to check it out.

Not a place that I go for the beer. The aren’t really a brewery, just a fermenter. Wort is brewed at a central location and then shipped to the various stores for fermentation. I’m always amused when talking to the "brewmaster". Food is good, Service is standard for a chain bar/grill. Ambiance is sterile and boring.

Wow, the first thing you notice is how clean this place is, and that fake super friendly let me act interested clone server / bartender act that you find at most chain restaurants. Exactly the same as any other Granite City that I have been too across the country. The beers were completely forgettable.

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon. The place itself is clean and nice, similar to a decent bar and grill. The beer selection is okay, as they serve their Granite City beers which are average. Service was pretty good, as the waitress was attentive and knew their beer script well. Value was about as expected, as the large draws were about $4 as was the sampler. Not a bad place, but pretty much the exact same as any other Granite City Food and Brewery that you’ll find.

Yep, only 4 beers, and I think one of them was a blend of the Maibock and Northern Light, for those who just can’t take a straight-up Maibock, apparently. Either way, I tried the Duke of Wellington IPA and the Brother Benedict’s Maibock and found the two eerily similar, not a positive thing for styles that are, or should be at opposite ends of a certain part of the beer spectrum. But, the wait wasn’t too long and the food certainly was tasty, if not a little on the pricey side. Inside features stone walls (appropriately enough) and a fairly bustling bar and staff. However, since I don’t live anywhere near this part of town, I can’t see going back at all since there are plenty of fine restaurants in and around my neighborhood. Either way it certainly wouldn’t be for the centrally-brewed, fermented-on-the-premises and uninspiring beers.

Not bad at all. Went and it still had that brand new feel to it. Waitstaff was overly attentive (not likely to keep up). The beer selection wasn’t great, had 4 of thier own beers on tap, and I know they have macros in bottle, but not sure whatelse. The food was average. The soup was good to great, my pasta was decent to average (bland), and my girlfriends turkey wrap was standard. Beers were average.
