Stopped in here for a quick beer as I walked around town. Tiny little spot, a bit run down, with one fridge inside. There is a bar when you walk in and some tables behind that. Brewing going on in the back. Service was nonexistent as the guy just talked to the couple next to me at the bar the whole time. There wasn’t a single thing on tap that I couldn’t get on the shelf in Florida. Overall this was one of the more disappointing experiences I have had visiting a brewery I truly enjoy. Honestly not really worth a stop unless you want a tshirt or something. Did not eat. What is the point of this place if you’re not going to do something unique?

Great Divide is located on the corner of Arapahoe and 22nd Street. Street and pay lot parking is available in the surrounding area.
The brick building features a large bottle-shaped logo sign on the exterior. Inside it opens to a small bar/tasting room immediately past the entrance. The bar is divided by a wall/window, and behind that is the brewery. There is small area devoted to take home bottles and merch too. Behind the bar there is a board listing the available beers.
As for the beers there are around 15 on tap, including standards like Hoss, Colette, Titan IPA and Lasso plus seasonals like What The Helles Up. a 3-beer sampler is available for $3 with proceeds going to charity.
Service at the bar in the late afternoon was good. The bartenders were having a good time and were attentive. The brewery also offers tours a couple times a day.
I did not have any food on this visit.
All in all Great Divide is a worthwhile stop in Denver.

Really cool brick building with a great setup. Friendly bartenders and fairly quick service if it’s not too busy. Decent amount of taps and during the GABF I always found something I was willing to try. Great place to sit out on the patio when there is warm weather, enjoy a wood fired pizza from the trucks on the street and a delicious beer.

Small tasting room with lots of bustle. Service was pretentious and horrible. Beers were there own, but nothing interesting. I am a huge fan of thier beers, but this put me off. Prices were very cheap though.

Neat brewery in a nice location just a little ways from the heart of downtown. On a weekday, the taproom is full of aromas from the brewing operation next door, really nice atmosphere. It was busy but not packed. The service was quick and friendly. The selection was good - everything listed was available. Value was good, $1 for a 5oz sample is fair. Overall a great destination in downtown denver, a must-stop for the fresh seasonals on tap.

New visit. Visited early April, 2014, during CBC week.
Very crowded, hard to make it to the bar for a beer. Rather small inside and out, food truck normally outside. I love the beers they make, but really wish they’d have a bigger room and more toilets.
Visited on October 7, 2012.
Nice place, not super crowded this day. 16 taps, sampled 4 and had a glass of Oak Aged Yeti. Went on a tour of the brewery and bought some shirts. Veggie food truck outside, but didn’t eat.

Easy to get to but in a slightly, and getting less, sketchy part of the city. Great beer. Always a food truck. Outdoor patio. Reasonable prices.

My favorite brewery and favorite taproom in Downtown Denver. Ambiance is cool, with a small and intimate bar area with adjacent seating that has views of the brewing area. Service can be slow depending on the crowd. Selection is typically good, with a variety of beers on tap including some brewery only releases. Cat themes have been these releases as of late. No food here, but food trucks do show up on occasion. Decent value, although some of the higher ABV beers can be expensive. Overall, ill keep coming here any time I can.

Packed during GABF weekend, not a shocker. Not too much on tap that you wouldn’t see outside of the tasting room, much of it in bottles. Service was quick despite the crowds. Dark and crowded, so kind of hard to get a feel for the decor. Shitters could use an upgrade. Some space outfront on the patio and a small bar ledge around the perimeter of the bar area. Good pricing on the beers, too. Would stop in again during a less crowded time of the year.

Visited on 10/12/12. GABF Week. (Stop #1 of the day)
We went here as our pre-lunch beer stop and before it got super busy.
A: Atmosphere is decent, the bar area can hold about a dozen at the bar, with space along the walls and a few tables too. They also had an outdoor tent amongst the tanks that also had picnic tables too. The place has a very upbeat vibe to it.
Q: Every beer we had was good if not better, including some special one offs too.
S: Even when the place got really packed, the bartenders were prompt and knowledgeable.
S: They were killing it when we went there with special one offs, they had three specals on which were a Colorado Fresh Hop, Fall Saison, and a Salted Gose. Had no less than 18-20 in house beers on tap all time.
V: $1 ~ 5oz samplers were awesome. Pints were only $4 each...if thats their regular price, then WoW.
Overall, if you go to Denver, must stop...one of favorite places of my trip.
