| Westmeister (32), Atlanta, Georgia | | February 20, 2012 Hand in hand with the other good beer store in the A!. Sometimes I find prices are a bit better as well. Just great selection, but doesn’t necessarily have the craft feel to the store considering its mostly a liquor/wine place. So, if you are looking for help you may not be of any luck. | | markwise (124), North of Tampa, Florida | | February 7, 2012 Went at opening on a Saturday. A quiet store with interesting and eclectic clientele. They had a very nice selection and they left me alone to look at it and find cool beers. The staff were of almost no use. They had no organization that I could divine except for separating American from Belgian and imported beers. No organization to Americans, but man, the Belgian cellar is freaking killer. Lots of different and rarer Belgians and Mikkellers and Danish beers. Prices are nice, but I guess they price differently for cash or credit. I was fortunate and had cash. | | GTAEgeek (49), Atlanta, Georgia | | August 3, 2011 Dumpy building with inadequate parking. The location is very convenient, though. The inside is nothing special, but clean and well laid out. The staff is friendly, but not very helpful. The selection is great, especially for bombers, which line an entire wall. There is a great Belgian cooler room. The prices are very reasonable as well. | | jw0406 (29), atlanta, Georgia | | May 1, 2011 One of the best selections of beer in Atlanta. Outstanding prices, great belgian cooler. Not much help from the staff, but with so many beer options only a minor complaint | | drowland (116), Tallahassee, Florida | | October 4, 2010 Overall, let me put it this way. If you want some delicious and quasi-rare hard to find Belgians, this is the place to go in Atlanta.
However, that being said, the place has a very diverse clientele and the employees are not helpful and don’t help you at all... the beer makes it worth it, though! | | beernovice39 (146), South Carolina | | August 2, 2010 I have always been able to find good beers at good prices here when going through Atlanta. | | rocbyter (43), Waterbury, Connecticut | | June 23, 2010 Good selection for me being that I don’t get too many southern beers in Connecticut. Average prices and they have a fancy bottle room. | | Gustav1996 (24), Birmingham, Alabama | | March 14, 2010 Does not look inviting on the outside but give it a shot. Big selection and good prices. The staff tried to help when asked but I wouldn’t say they are friendly. Overall, I will go back (soon). | | tubehead (12), Atlanta, Georgia | | February 14, 2010 Excellent selection but no help nor organization to what they have. Good prices but I hate shopping here. The place smells a little funny and the people who work there don’t seem to care about the customers or their jobs. I always seem to pick out beer for the other customers when I go since no one who works there wants to bother. Hop City seems to be the place to go - better selection and much cleaner/friendlier. | | mcrowther (16), ATLANTA, Georgia | | November 15, 2009 Not the best beer store in Atlanta any more now that Hop City is out there but still has a great selection and of course the Belgian Beer cooler. |
