This place had the second smallest toilet I’ve seen at a bar - my butt kept setting off the hand dryer. Of course, that’s a small complaint when the tap list is so good, and the bottle list so varied. I do wish they had a printed or online bottle list though. Staff was extremely kniwledgeable and fruendly. Worth going well out of you way for.

Quite nice pub (so far non-brewing) with a more than respectable selection of beers. Location close to several other interesting pubs in the trendy Grünerløkka area. Not crowded on a Sunday evening. Did not eat, but food is available in the daytime.

If you are visting the Schouskerjellen brewery than this is about 10-12 mins leisurely walk away and worth combining. A nice split level pub that must have been an old cafe once upon a time. Well busy for a Wednesday, pretty much full in fact and the 2 staff they had on (both nice people and knew the beer) were somewhat swamped so service was a tad slow. Aegir Tors Hammer and Nogne O BA Sunturnbrew kept me happy as did a couple of the beers on tap. The fish and chips were very nice and had a passable attempt at mushy peas (but I’m a southerner so what do I know?) Bottles decorate the walls and ex pats frequent the bar area whilst the locals grab the tables downstairs. Really enjoyed whiling away a couple of hours here. Just the grim Norwegian prices casting a bit of a shadow!

Service varies depending on who is there at the moment, and it is very crowded in the weekends. Though mostly very good. Good selection on tap, and frequent changes in what is offered. Some beers brewed specially for the pub, but they do not brew themselves, even though it is clad there "brewerhouse" A bit more expensive then some of the other pubs

Nice beer place with a good selection. Maybe a bit too crowded at weekends, but that’s ok. Nice food, large potions. Some rare bottles, but mostly things that are common to find in good selection pubs in oslo

Nice relaxed pub with a solig selection of beer. They do also know what they serve! Some bartenders do not know he difference about lager and ale

A fairly relaxed beerpub with good food and a nice atmosphere. Very crowded on weekends so I´d come early in the week.

14.10.2011. This is a very nice bar located at Grunerløkka in Oslo. I visited this place on a Friday night and it was so crowded that it was impossible to have a beer talk with the people behind the bar. But it was a good time anyway!

Nice pub with a pretty good selection of beer. Tends to get too crowded at weekends, so if you want to relax and enjoy your beer, Friday and Saturday evenings are probably not the best time.
