Large place, dark and cozy interior. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food. Beer list is not large, but is well chosen, with a good variety of local stuff and things from farther afield.

Knowledgeable and very serviceable staff. I find the beers pricey, both on tap and bottles. Relaxed ambience (can get loud in weekends/evenings, but that is hard to avoid anywhere). I always look forward to my next visit, but my bank account isn’t quite as enthusiastic. (Note: The food rating is based on eating there only once.)

Cozy and intimate pub. Very friendly staff that put all the beers we wanted to cool (the last beers ended up a bit too cold). Very good selection, but remember to ask for the special list, don’t settle for the regular beer menu. I didn’t go there to eat, so I don’t know if the food is good.

Good selection on tap but the bottle selection is where it shines. Enjoyed a few Brewdogs, lots of Norwegian brews, and settled down with quite a bit of their food. Lovely staff, even during busy weekend hours. Norwegian prices, so don’t expect anything cheap (or less than twice what you might normally pay).

You can’t get to this place via Rosenkratzgate but have to go round the corner to Kings something! A homely bar (you don’t have to eat here) with a nice old wooden ceiling. Good selection of Norwegian beers and a healthy dose of other European and US beers. Service was swift and friendly. Unfortunately stupidly expenisve. Well over £20 for a 750 of Kinn. Around £10 for a can of Ska. That’s about all I could stand forking out for. Really wish Norway would sort themselves out - lovely country, lovely people but priced at a rate that I doubt I will go back and the daft thing is I would like to!

A nice beer restaurant in Oslo. A good selection of american micros and a good selection on tap. Good, but snooty, food and a friendly staff. A little on the stiff side price wise, but absolutely worth a visit.

My favorite place in Oslo. Great selection of beers with reasonable prices. A good selection from Norwegian to American craft ales. Great ambiance.

An old restaurant in a central location not far from the main street in Oslo, Karl Johan. The menu looked nice, but I did not tried it. Nice atmosphere and Norwegian micro from Ægir, Nøgne Ø and Håndbryggeriet on tap. Will gladly return.
