| adamjackson (22), Canaan, New Hampshire | | February 27, 2012 This is a nice place. i like it a lot but the food and drinks are pricey and it’s hard to get help when the place is busy. I’ve been here a dozen times and it’s always the same.
The bartenders are very knowledgeable though. These guys KNOW their beer. | | LadySusan (90), Ste-Therese, Quebec | | January 26, 2012 This place is big and spacious. The inside is comfortable. The service is fast and friendly, the choices of beers is good also the choice of food. You can walk around and look at all the stuff they have to sell besides the beer. Good place to enjoy a beer and lunch. | | Quevillon (169), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec | | August 3, 2011 Visited July 28, 2011, a half hour after opening for lunch. Like the one in Boston, you can sample their beers, take a tour and buy beer and stuff, but here in Windsor, you can drink more the 3 oz and can eat. Lots of room to sit and they have a very long bar. My trukey wrap was very good and my two beer were nice to (Belgian Pale Ale and Leviathan Imperial Rye). It a nice place to have lunch or just drink, but sometimes it feels like a family restaurant. | | rosenbergh (275), Helsinki, Finland | | July 26, 2011 Visited the shop. Some bottles in cold. Some 100 Barrel Series and Leviathan series available. Lots of clothing and merchandise as well. Located in the middle of nowhere. Quite big bar/restaurant. | | chriso (258), London, England | | July 14, 2010 Visited on a Saturday late afternoon in April. Pleasant place in an attractive rural setting. Just popped in to get our Vermont brewer passports stamped but stayed for a pint. Nothing particularly exciting on offer. Spacious bar/restaurant area inside with a patio/beer garden outside. Most people were taking advantage of the Spring sunshine and sitting outside. We did likewise. I guess there is a shop inside and they do tours but I didn’t really look into that. Thought we’d only just arrived in time to beat the 6pm closing time but it turns out they are now open until 9pm from Thursday to Saturday (also on Mondays from May to October). Hardly an essential stop but, if passing it’s worth a look. | | patsfan13 (10), Cocoa, Florida | | August 26, 2009 The tour is not the best I’ve been on, but the tasteing selection is great. | eager25 (4), Independence, Iowa does not count - explanation | | August 20, 2009 Enjoyed our visit. Nice environment with a friendly staff. Would have liked to spend more time there. | | HereForTheBeer (12), Brattleboro, Vermont | | March 17, 2009 Harpoon Windsor has certainly stepped it up a notch. Their renovations are complete and now have a large bar, beautiful dining room and outside patio. In the winter you can enjoy a beer by the wood burning fireplace. They are primarily open for lunch and dinner on the weekends only. The menu is just sandwiches and you still order at the counter. Harpoon beers have also recently stepped it up a notch no longer just the typical IPA and UFO. The 100 Barrel Series is now more clearly defined as interesting and creative beers while the new Leviathan Series offers very, very tasty and creative high alcohol beers. If you are in Vermont I recommend you stop in for lunch. | | FanwickMike (33), | | September 26, 2008 beer tour 09/23/08. dropped by just before closing on the 23rd, and tried several brews, such as their Munich type dark beer and an IIPA, which was excellent, hoppy but balanced, neither overly sweet or bitter. Hostess (and customers) were very well informed beer drinkers who noticed that we still had tour stickers on our shirts from a previous tour earlier in the day at Redhook. They mentioned places they would like to visit and we suggested several as well. A very nice place with good people. | | josarah (77), Hinesburg, Vermont | | February 27, 2008 This is a pretty standard commercial brewery, good tour, great gift shop, limited beer selection. I concur with other reviewers, this place is kinda nuts when there is a festival here. Worth a stop when your in the area. |
