80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 Elwood (97) Leesburg, Virginia | November 11, 2012 Great little spot in Rehoboth right near the boardwalk. A fair number of tables in a brightly lit space and a small bar area. The draft list is small but well thought out and a large number of bottles varying from the pedestrian to some harder to find brews. The cask is a definite plus. Prices lean towards the high side. Service was okay, but the bartender wasn’t particularly chatty. The oysters look great and the rest of the menu looked equally good. Definitely recommended. | 62 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 12/20 HeadyDE (36) Delaware | August 17, 2012 Stopped by on a recent visit to beach, place was mobbed, draft list looked ok with a few gems, however absolutely nowhere to sit or stand, so moved on. Used the facilities and they were storing full kegs of quality craft offerings in the men’s room, yes they were full kegs, and yes in the men’s room, that is kind of gross, why not the hallway, the bathroom? | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20 rhartogs (11) Arlington, Virginia | March 8, 2012 Great beer, great food, great people. The owner has a great beer program. He even sends casks to breweries for never seen before beer in the area. Awesome oysters there too. | 84 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 barringtonbeer (11) , | January 7, 2012 great oysters great beer selection especially out of state beers | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 mtoast (13) Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | October 1, 2011 Visited on 9/26/11. Decent crowd on a Monday night at the start of off season, always a good sign. Selection didn’t have a lot of new things to me, but a great collection of styles none the less. Server knew her beer and was enthusiastic about a few of them. Did a sampler of raw oysters, which were fantastic, and a couple of sandwiches. Draft beers were in great shape, didn’t try any bottles | 80 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Steeeve (36) Ambler, Pennsylvania | March 10, 2011 Small, new place on Wilmington Ave in downtown Rehoboth (1 block from Rehoboth Ave). It’s pretty nice looking, good for families and small groups. Service was above average, but in all fairness the bartender was also the only waitress there on a slow Saturday afternoon. Selection is small but varied. Well put together. 8 taps and a DFH 75 Minute cask, with a fair amount of bottles. Food was simply delicious. Quality stuff, very delicious. Prices were about average. Quickly became our favorite new place in Rehoboth. A great change of pace from the always-mobbed Dogfish Pub. |
