great pizza / craft beer place on Tennyson in Denver... good pizza - great beer - the bottle list is impressive - RR Sours, 50/50 Eclipse, etc... great service at the bar... they do taster platters too. try the house IPA by Strange.

Place has a nice vibe, albeit a bit noisy. The beer list is not huge, but a lot of selections you wont find at many other place. They even have their own house pale ale that Strange Brewing brews for them. Pizza was delicious but a little pricey, be warned its $2 for every topping you add on. Overall, this place is a great place to grab a beer and a bite to eat, I will be back soon.

Great beer place. They have vegan pizza! The pizza was awesome. Because of that and awesome craft beer this place rocks. They need more space however because food and craft beer places are popular. My wife and I went here for the Superbowl but it was packed and full of Patroit fans fyi.

This may be my favorite place in the world to drink beer, and certainly my favorite in Colorado (amongst a myriad of great options). While they don’t have a huge tap wall like others, they only serve the best of the best, so I can usually find more that I want to drink here than at places with larger selections like the Falling Rock. I love that they cycle through beers quickly so that every time you go there’s always a bunch of new stuff to try. The staff is super knowledgable and very friendly, and the food is delicious - easily the best food at a beer establishment in CO. They are expanding to the place next store so should have a lot more seating soon.

Small and cramped little restaurant that has a bar that’s a little too big, seems like it was just tacked on. Beer selection is great, albiet kinda expensive. Pizza is expensive too, but so so good. Some of the quasi-rare stuff and the very good pizza might be worth budgeting for, but it’s gonna hurt the wallet. But it can be cozy with a very nice staff, and theyre kinda liberal with those tasters...

This place is a lot of fun. The beer selection is really good, and they work really hard to bring beers in that are made by breweries that have similar business models to them, small, local, and handmade. There is a reason one does not see Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, and Coors on tap: these companies are just too big. Their pizza is good, although not traditional. If you want a huge slice of super thin and greasy New York style pizza, this may not be the place you are looking for, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find something you love! The mac and cheese, and the recent addition of sandwiches to the menu are all so so good. But the thing I love about this place, is that I can go in on Monday, drink a beer that won’t be on a few days later, so even though their tap capacity is not as large as say Falling Rock, they manage to move many different styles and specialty beers through. The owner loves IPA, so if you are a connoisseur of the hoppy beers, this is your place, you can try numerous different kinds all in one sitting. This is truly a great little place to enjoy an afternoon or night, and a few beers. Definitely worth going to!

Small friendly well lit beer and pizza place. Owners are always there and service is quick and friendly. They have 22 taps and when a keg blows a new and different one goes on (thge same beer may come back in the future). The Pizza is thin crust and tasty. Value is great especially on Saturday 3 draughts and 2 cheese slices for $16!

I enjoy the hell out of this place. It is in our hood and the beer selection is constantly changing to stuff that I rarely see other places, including falling rock. I was in again for probably the dozenth time on Saturday and they had Trout Hop from grand Teton, Highway colab. from Stone/Green Flash & Port, Cosecration from RR, One Hit Wonder from Oskar Blues, Pliny The Elder Bottles, Some Stuff from Jolly Pumpkin just a great selection. The pizza is pretty damn good, I like the Artisans over the NY style, but both are tasty. The mac & cheese however is awesome they make it with their house IPA which by the way they run threw a hopback filled with whole flower cascade, awesome. You can sample as much as you like I usually get out of there having tasted at least 6 or 7 sample (free beer) awesome! Anyway guess I just love this place!

Another one of these [blank] and beer places that seem to be popping up around town (see "The Hole" across the street, that advertises "coffee, donuts, beer") - the atmosphere is just sort of "meh" - it really does look like they just slapped a bar in your standard pizza place - 20 taps, with a nice mix of choices that are equal parts local brews (some of which are draft only) and out of state beers (Blind Pig, Ommegang BPA, Lost and Found, JP Maracaibo, Bear Republic Mach 10) - with a few exceptions, prices on the drafts are outrageous - a few are 6 bucks, which, in my opinion, is pushing the edge of reasonable, but many are 7 bucks - the JP Maracaibo was also 13 bucks a 10 oz pour - that is not a typo - 13...fucking...dollars - for a comparison, that same beer is currently on tap at Freshcraft for 7 bucks a 10 oz - they have a happy hour deal wherein you buy a beer and a slice and get one dollar off each, but 1. that is not much of a deal given their beer prices, and 2. what if I don’t want pizza? - what if I just want a beer? - I guess I am SOL - I tried slices of the "New York" style pizza and was not impressed - perhaps because I am from NY, my bar is a bit high - but the slices were very small, the cheese tasted poor quality, the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, and the crust had a certain "frozen pizza" quality to it - do yourself a favor - you want pizza and beer? - go to 32nd and Lowell - get some pizza to go from Pizza Alley, where they make the most reasonable facsimile of NY pizza I have found in town - walk across the street to Mondo Vino and get something nice for yourself - go home and enjoy - you will wind up with a larger quantity of better product for less money - they are lucky their selection is fairly good here.
