Love this little place. It’s a friendly neighborhood bar with a supurb selection of craft and domestic beers. Happy hour from 4-7 any draft is $3 , thursday is happy hour all day. They have some kind of a special everyday and it’s great to be able to sample many beers at a reasonable price. The food is decent which makes it more applealing than some of the other beer bars in Tampa tht have no food. The staff is friendly and they have a full liquor bar just in case you bring a friend who doesn’t drink beer. Thy’ve been open just over 1 year and it’s turned into my favorite local pub. Lots of good tv’s to watch the games on too and live entertainment on Friday and Saturday.

I recently visited HOB and loved it! My husband and I are avid drinkers of great beer and love dining out. House of Brews is conveniently located in North Tampa where there has been one thing missing...your neighborhood bar! We are so excited to now have a neighborhood bar near our house. 24 beers on tap, 50 in a bottle (they don’t discriminate against domestic beer drinkers the way some other beer bars do), full liquor bar as well as a great wine selection. We had great service at the bar from the Manager Kelly as well as the bartender Chrissy! They always have a smile on their face and make you feel like your money is appreciated. Their happy hour and specials are awesome..Mon-Friday 4-7 all drafts $3, $4 calls, $5 wine, & 1/2 off all appetizers! You can’t beat it! The food will make your mouth water, home made meatballs and delicious cheesy bread! And one of my favorite things.. you can get your favorite bottled beers to go!

Visited this place shortly after opening on a Wednesday afternoon and the place was already hopping with a number of patrons enjoying beers at the bar area. Located in a large strip mall on the southeast corner of Dale Mabry and Van Dyke, this is a small but very attractive beer bar with booths, high top tables with leather chairs and a nice long bar area with granite countertops. Music was played at a reasonable volume, and a few TVs dotted the wall. Tap selection was reasonable -- a few BMCs with Abita, Sierra Nevada, Cigar City, Rogue, Paulaner and Bells on draft and a few other craft beers in the bottle (Stone, DFH, Unibroue, Orval). Food looked good, but the best thing was $3 pints and 50% off appetizers at happy hour. Definitely a welcome addition to Lutz!
