| dead_baldrick (10), Leuven, Belgium | | May 25, 2012 Cosy place in the heart of the city, famous for its homebrews: Con Domus (pils), Nostra Domus (amber) and a seasonal. Nice selection of beers from other brewers as well. The place can be crowded. Go there on a warm summer’s day to enjoy a drink on the patio. | | undercurrent25 (64), Barnton, England | | May 1, 2012 Excellent surroundings, house beer is of good quality, food was generally good, would be worth another visit when I return | | mike1977ok (26), , Netherlands | | May 1, 2012 Nice interior. Good selection of beer at reasonable prices. This time I popped in for a bite to eat. Next time would like to sit at the bar and spend some more time there. | | goozen (36), Leiden, Netherlands | | April 30, 2012 Nice brewpub thats have long twisting shape, fine homebrews, some other beers from other breweries. | | Yves (10), Turnhout, Belgium | | April 29, 2012 Visited it the weekend of ZBF 2012. Nice place to drink a beer, nice selection. The tour in the brewery is worth it. Nice and friendly guide. | | maupie (12), Roosendaal, Netherlands | | April 16, 2012 Café is bigger the i thought when i was standing on the front. Beer selection was ok and for visiting the brewery you have to reservate with at least 8 persons. | | MrW (14), Londerzeel, Belgium | | April 4, 2012 I had my drink in the patio outside. The sun was burning so the weather was ideal for a Pilsner.
Friendly and fast service. Not a superimpressive selection, but you should drink the homebrews here.
The food was good.
Prices are normal for Belgium. | | tderoeck (93), Gent, Belgium | | December 1, 2011 Visit October 2011 with the Gentse Biervereniging. The tour was a bit short and boring as they didn’t tell much more than the usual brewing process. But I guess most people just come here for a beer of course. It’s pretty remarkable how a brewpub offers a whole bunch of other beers as well. The beer menu is pretty extensive and has quite a lot of really good beers. We tried of course all three Domus beers available. (Con Domus, Nostra Domus and Marcamarus) We also ate here. Everybody was satisfied with his food. Nothing too special, but definitely ok. Next time when in Leuven, i’ll definitely drop by again to try another seasonal. | | auderale (58), Bitburg, Germany | | November 18, 2011 Finally got to this place after navigating through all the construction. It was worth the stop. Beer selection was ok and the the three local stuff on tap was pretty decent. The food was pretty good as well. Pretty cool atmosphere and much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. It was crowded on the Saturday afternoon, but definitely worth the trip. Will stop back here if ever in Leuven. | | prawlie (36), , England | | November 8, 2011 Been here a lot and still love to go back and this place his it all. Its brews its own beer, there are always at least 3 on the go and they are pretty decent. Plus there are about 100 other largely Belgian beers available, including a few on draught. The range of food is good if not extensive, and the meat dishes are excellent. Its a very chilled out family atmosphere and the staff are nice and also efficient. |
