Very good beer list and very low prices. There you can find very rear bottles and really good taps. The music is great and the service too. I especially like the beer garden which is open during the summer.

I had heard such great things about IPAnema, its huge range of exceptional beers, and the warmth of the welcome from the expert staff. Well - it was all true, and I’m so glad we made the trip out to the village to experience this superb craft beer haven for ourselves. From the home brewed Pale Ale (outstanding quality), to the draft Greek micro selection, and the extensive but still highly selective range of imported bottles - IPAnema merits far far more than one evening’s visit. De Molen, for example, is a favourite at the bar, and their Single Hop Citra IPA was balanced perfection. A very special place indeed.

At Ipanema you will find a wide selection of beer to choose from, that can satisfy any taste. Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. If you love beer and you are in the Thessaloniki area, that’s definitely the place to go!

I just moved abroad from Thessaloniki, and I have to say that apart from friends and family, Ipanema is one of the things I will miss the most. Great atmosphere and great rock music, which enables you to both relax and have fun depending on your mood. The service is always great and friendly, and George (the owner) is always willing to help you find a beer that suits your taste-buds and share his vast knowledge on beer with you. Another great thing about Ipanema is that it does not carry a great number of beers just to impress as most beer bars do (and you end up flipping through a huge catalog finding nothing satisfying). Every label is carefully selected and that results in an amazing selection of beers from Belgium, the USA, the Netherlands, UK, Greece etc. Moreover, there are usually between 8 and 10 quality beers on tap, of which 1-2 rotate regularly so that the customers can always try something new. The prices are among the best I have encountered. All in all, Ipanema is definitely the best beer bar in Thessaloniki and its surroundings, and the best beer bar I have been to.

He’s friendly and patient with the novice looking to experiment and broaden their horizens. He’ll explain different styles and even offer tastes so you get the most out of the experience. Connoisseurs will welcome his impreessive selection and appreciate his eagerness to bring in kegs of the most exotic brews from European and N. American microbreweries. This is one of the best (maybe THE best) beer-places in Greece! Located some km away from Thessaloniki, on "Trilofos" village Ipanema beer-bar has a huge selection of beers from allover the world. There, you can find most of the Greek beers and also some diamonds from UK, US and EU! The owner who is also the bartender, is really informed and helpful! Nice rock music, excellent ambiance and a garden for summertime, all in this promising place. For me, this is the best value-for-money place to taste hundreds of beers from abroad!
