Been here a bunch of times. Unfortunately is was not Jackie O’s when I went to OU, but it is a great spot to hit when I visit my Alma Mater. I prefer the brewery side to the public house, but both are nice. Always have great service, the food is good to pretty good and the beers are excellent. A bit out of the way in Ohio, but it is definitely worth the stop if you are anywhere near.

I freaking love this place. Ambiance is two fold. The publick house side, is a nice long wooden bar with tons of tables to drink and a nice stage up front. Brewery side is a lot more eclectic and homey, with big barrels for tables and lots of wodden carvings, but can get a little cramped. Service has always been pretty good and friendly everytime i;ve gone. Selection is amazing. At least 30 of their own beers on tap at once. who can beat that. Any breakfast or lunch ive ever had here was pretty damn good as well. Food and beer on tap is pretty cheap, especially since you can get decent samples of anythingfor $1-2. Overall worth the stop if anywhere near athens.

Visited late afternoon on a Tuesday. Jackie-O’s is split into two different spaces - the brewery taproom and the Public House. The taproom was closed on my visit, so I had beers at the bar at the Public House. Pretty typical bar layout, with a long bar and bar tables throughout. They had an astounding 18 beers on draft, as well as two guest beers. The beers are all super creative and well made. Additionally, I had the cheese curds which were solid. Service was solid, and the crowd was a nice mix of beer folks and students. Glad I made the trip from Columbus to check this place out.

Don’t know how I haven’t rated this place yet. This is one of the best breweries around to visit. Brad the brewer has been nice enough to take time to talk to me during each of my visits. The staff has always been friend but it can be a tad slow during busy times. There are always a ton of Jackie O’s taps plus a good selection of guest taps. Food is solid if not great and prices are quite competitive. An absolute must visit!

I stopped here after a huge storm that knocked out power all over the city. Unfortunately, they had to throw away all their food, but the beer was still flowing and it was the last day of Ohio Beer Week! Great service and knowledgable bartenders on both sides of the pub. Really nice selection of beers with a broad range of styles (plus a few guest taps). Cool, chill, friendly ambience with a pretty decent value for the quality of beers they were offering. Excellent brewpub.

I have been to Jackie O’s many times. Brad, Art and the staff always do a great job whether you go mid week or during a bottle release. There are always interesting beers on tap and the food is a definite plus. The pizzas and burgers are great. I wish this was closer to home so I could visit more often.

Nice to stop in here at long last. Overall, aside from some fairly dodgy service, it was an enjoyable few hours. Decent enough space, though nothing particularly special. And unfortunately, they’d run out of several of the drafts I’d hoped to try. But still, there were more than enough goodies on tap and the pizza was a pretty nice white pie. I’d happily stop back in again.

Great freindly place with a excellent selection of their own beers and good selection of guest beers. Good food with large portions. Well worth a visit.

A chill pub located in a college town (unfortunately the day I visited was move-in day and the town was packed!). There is a long bar with multiple small tables, tvs, and a pool table. They offer a number of drafts, including special barrel aged beers and seasonals. At least when I was there in late August, it was a barrel-aged beer lover’s dream. A small menu, I got a pizza which was very tasty. Overall, a nice place to try some interesting beers made by an up-and-coming brewery.

Simply put loved this place one of the best pub and brewrys ever been in the reuben was AWESOME highly suggest it. Service was first rate one great place
