There is a little bar area which is kind of neat. Sitting in a market drinking a beer is certainly a change of pace for being in downtown Knoxville. There are some old arcade games too. The tap beer selection changes a lot and usually has something deceng on. The coolers with beer to go are lacking. The other market closer to Barley’s has probably twice the selection.

Little city market in the old JFG market downtown. 6 taps and a fairly extensive bottle selection. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon around 2 and had the place to myself, although the owner said that it can get pretty busy with the hobo crowd in the morning to get their Natty Light fix and then the regular going out crowd in the evening. I didn’t eat, but they have a decent selection of deli sandwiches that looked good. They have had some tasting events already and intend to expand that program as well, I’m told. Some acoustic music in the evening, as well. Cool place, I’m anxious to see them expand.
