"outdoor" food court setting adjacent to mall. a dozen 6-place picnic-style tables with padded benches. Finished red wood materials. smoking pervasive. Flat-screen TV with English Premiere League showing. Japanese draught beers include Hitachino Nest offerings at $15 SG for 500 ml glass. Obnoxious music from adjacent bars destroys any ambiance. Unique for Japanese craft beer selection, so worht checking out when near Somerset MRT stop.

Limited drafts compared to what was on the menu...only 2 on draft. Staff was not very knowledgeable. Nice seating outside. Micros limited to 2 breweries in bottles. Nice view if small park.

Situated in a busy food mall. Mostly Hitachino Beers plus Yona Yona on tap. A few American imports. Not worth making a detour for.

Very nice japanese beers and nice ambiance. The Jungle Beer Tropical Wheat Mango is amazing.

Been here 3 times and had consistent mediocre service. Staff never bothered to introduce their craft beers and looked on like they can’t wait for me to finish my beer. REal pity cos it’s Located conveniently. I’m heading to their competitor instead. Cheers!

Been here many times, only just got around to reviewing. Staff are generally very friendly, but often have just a basic knowledge of their beers. besides their taps, hitachino ipa and white ale seem house standard, some guests, and usually only has one simple lager - notable in singapore. recently got some very interesting bottles, yama bushi saisons and other interesting japanese brews, unfortunately some other bottle choices (more commercial euro/aus beers) were unadventurous and not worth their prices, otherwise reasonable for a good beer in sg. good food and menu getting better, if the kitchen’s closed you should get the ok for takeaway

It’s unique to serve japanese craft beers. Another alternative place to go if you want to try something fresh in Singapore.

Just open for a few weeks at the time of this review. JiBiru is a concept bar serving up a line of all Japanese beers. Tap: Sapporo, Hitachino Nest White, Nipponia and Pale Ale, Tama No Megumi Pale Ale. Extensive range of bottles from Hitachino Nest, Kinshachi, Tama No Megumi, Shiga Kogen and Yoho (Yona Yona). Have not tried the food as of yet but food is reasonably priced, beer is on the pricey side but hey this is Singapore. Service is excellent, the staff are friendly and attentive but some are inexperienced - a bit of a minus for me. The place has wifi.
