76 I went in 2018 and it was a great beer bar. Today 18/April/2024 it was closed and a sign on door said it was closed yesterday. Very strange.... |
82 Smallish bar but not packed on a Wednesday night. Great selection of taps (20) and extensive bottle list with some top Lambics/gueuze. A must stop. |
86 Visited late at night – group of locals was chilling and one of them served me my first beer since the barman was down in the basement for quite a while. There is a bit more of a dining and a bar area, it was deserted while I was there. Tap selection had a nice choice of French beers, the imports you can see elsewhere in similar bars Kernel, Cantillon, De Ranke etc. Nothing shocking or exception (this is the highest rated place in Paris – I suppose they were trendsetters and more unique previously than they’re now). Still nice place, fridges, large selection of Cantillon (one fridge – maybe cause for the elevated ratings?) but also 3 Fonteinen etc. as well as a nice selection of cans. Wouldn’t place it that much higher than other place, great place definitely. |

94 Visited in the evening during the week. The place is a pretty modern one. They have an awesome draft list from all over Europe and the US. They even had a Cantillon offered. I had just one beer, but could have easily spent a lot more time here if there was an infinite level of sobriety. Awesome place worthy of its high rating. |
