So if you are driving to Broue Ha Ha you might as well stop in here on your way back (to either Ottawa or Hull/Gatineau) since its not that out of the way. Have a great selection of cheese (obviously) that is made on site along with other artisan cheeses, meats, and a decent room of beer. I have rarely found anything here that isn’t at Broue Ha Ha although prices can sometimes be cheaper and to be honest its just a great stop if you want to make a charcuterie plate for the night.

Un peu la même chose que la Trappe à Gatineau. Longtemps une des seules places où on pouvait se procurer de la bonne beer. Maintenant le Broue Ha Ha est là. La place pour du fromage et quelques bonnes consommations.

Visited today with some friends (young beer geeks, what a concept?). Smallish place that reeks of delicious cheese .Beer has a corner, lots of 6ers and singles of all things offered. Decent selection of Quebec micro’s, and prices are almost reasonable, but the staff doesn’t seem to care at all about beer. The cheese factory in the back is pretty cool, but not all that impressive when you’re on a BEER hunt. If you happen to be way the hell up in ’why-the-f***-are-you-here-anglais-’ Hull-Gatineau it’s a good spot, but you can get the same stuff and more at some other places in the area.

Actually a cheese factory which also happens to sell beer. The rating is obviously only concerned with the beer, even though I gave it a 10 for the food. Not much ambiance, though I went there at like 5:55 PM. Staff more seems like cheese workers -- to me, beer here is a bonus. Nice selection of roughly 65 Quebec micros, which makes it the 2nd most interesting beer store in the region after le Marché Jovi. The 12 pack of Maitre Brasseur Selection was 20 bucks, which is a bit expansive for Quebec standards. But you have to remember that you have a 12-can pack of Lakeport Light in Ontario for the same price. Go there if you’re somehow too far of the Jovi, or simply want to buy some cheese as well.

Nice selection of some Quebec micros in the back right corner of this cheese place. They sell some 6 packs but they also have singles which is nice if you want to try something out (obviously a bit more expensive than 6 packs as they range from 2-5$ per beer but still cool).

A cheese factory that sells their own cheese plus lots of other brands. They sell deli meat and fancy oils, spreads and other thinks of the ilk. Beer selection is smaller than Marche Jovi, but quite stellar in quality. Lots of singles were available which was great as I didn’t have to buy six packs. There was also a good selection of cider here too. I’ll return when I am in the area.

Mainly a cheese factory with microbrews on the back wall. Selection is very limited but the ones available are very, very good. Cheese is pricey but very tasty as well.

Very similar to the shop on Maloney street with maybe less selection available. Still one of the best place to go for Qc micro beers in that sector of town and the selection of cheese is really outstanding.

J’aime mieux le service et l’ambiance à Gatineau. Le décor est froid et manque de convivialité.
