bfellows (3), California does not count - explanation | | April 28, 2012 I spent a glorious afternoon and evening out in Agora! I never thought I’d say that.
Really nice place that was very easy to find, right off the 101.
Welcoming staff and knowledgable bartender.
The space is very nice and there is a great looking patio.
Looking forward to going back and trying even more of their beers. | | ekoerper (32), Iowa | | March 30, 2012 Stopped by for a long lunch and a sampler tray. Very bright, open, and clean place, staff were friendly and had a decent grasp on the beers. They had quite a few house brews on tap, enough that the sampler gave me a bit of a buzz, and several guest beers. Food was tasty, would definitely go back. | | inkubus27 (11), highland, Indiana | | February 29, 2012 Cool little brewery. Porter had coffee grounds in the head, really neat. Other than that, a bit overpriced, too Belgian and small food menu. | | foamyhead (17), California | | December 1, 2011 Went into Ladyface yesterday and I am so impressed with what they have done over there. I was surprised how good the beers were and I look forward to going back again when I’m in the area. | J_man (4), Tustin, California does not count - explanation | | October 23, 2011 Had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. Sat outside on the patio on a clear, sunny day which was very nice with views of the surrounding hills. Got the beer sampler which had 8 different beers from a blonde to a porter. All were good to very good and I’m looking forward to going back and trying more! The food was excellent as was the service. Had the pomme frites with red ale ketchup and blue cheese fondue, autumn salad and croque monsieur with ham and egg, all delicious. Very laid back and friendly atmosphere and staff, nice interior/exterior design, and a nice location. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the Agoura Hills area. | | ajm (191), Los Angeles, California | | October 19, 2011 I have been here twice. One time was incredible. One time the food ruined everything, so if you find something you like, stick with it. Menu exploration will get you hosed. The beer they make here is above average in my opinion. Fresh IPA done right, some really good moves into barleywine and BA offerings as well. Belgians a bit worse but not swill. As I implied, lots of menu items are rad (the tartare, the mussels, probably anything involving meat) and a few are not (their bread is tough to find a home for). About 40 min west of Hollywood and if you’re in the mood for something different a good stop. | mwcatlin (4), Colorado does not count - explanation | | August 3, 2011 Didn’t eat, but loved the atmosphere. Very nice vibe. | | pushkinwow (54), Ottawa, Ontario | | July 22, 2011 Lunch on a Friday. Place was maybe half full. 8 of their beers (2 special) along with maybe 8 or more guest taps and some sour bottles. Growlers and bottles available to go. Service was spot on (water right away, quick with beer and food delivery) and knowledgeable of the house beers (didn’t try anything else). Food was very good and reasonable (most things were 10-13) and the beer was decent. Great space inside with the brew equipment, smells of a brewery and tasty food, not too mention a great patio, Overall would be more then happy to spend an evening or day there anytime. | | miketd (112), Cleveland, Ohio | | January 10, 2011 Cool place a bit away from most other good places. Vibe is upscale yuppie, but it’s California so it is pretty casual, really. Service was very good but it wasn’t busy on this day for early lunch. Food was good, maybe they try a bit hard to present it as fine dining... other than that it was fine. Beer is what I was really impressed with. I only had the IPA and IIPA, but they were both great... especially the IPA. Definitely worth a stop. | | msante79 (253), Mount Prospect, Illinois | | November 16, 2010 Small little place with a coffee porter and 4 Belgian styles of there own on tap. Decent selection of guest brews on tap including RR Blind Pig. Small but great bottle selection. Burger was was so-so and expensive. Frites were great. Nice place but unsure if I would go out of my way to go here. Then again there is not a whole lot in the area. |
