| azterik (10), Tallahassee, Florida | | June 17, 2011 Nice little brewery located in a small but growing community. Definitely a nice little place with nice equipment and good service. Their brews are fairly decent while following traditional styles. | | cchubb (13), Minneola, Florida | | June 10, 2011 Brad makes a few products and does so very predictably. While this isn’t the biggest brewery, they are expanding with some larger fermenters as the distributor sells more product.
Overall the beer is designed for more of a mass market than some other breweries, but for the location it’s a nice departure from the BL and Corona scene.
The state won’t let them have food, so that’s the reason that there isn’t any at this location. Blame Florida. All of the delivery places know where he is an menus are there for the asking.
| | Lubiere (349), Ottawa, Ontario | | February 2, 2011 Located in a strip mall close the highway, the brewery is small and modern, with a nice tasting room. 6 beers on tap, but none of them very special....maybe it was a off day...something changed. | | changeup45 (78), Mount Dora, Florida | | June 15, 2010 This is a nice little new brewery just northwest of Orlando. As others have stated, from the outisde it looks industrial in a small strip mall of off a semi major road (not at all far from the turnpike though). From the inside it very much has a local bar scene vibe. A bar area with, I don’t know, 6-8 stools along with more casual tables and chairs comprise of the comfortable, albeit limited seating. Very much a casual relaxing atmosphere that I enjoy. Some sort of sporting event is usually on. No food that I’m aware of. Reasonable draft prices with a sampler option. 6 packs to go too which you can mix and match if you like. Friendly staff. The beer is pretty solid too, although nothing really standout as of yet. I like the place and definitely recommend you stop by if in the Orlando area. | Scorpwood (2), does not count - explanation | | June 7, 2010 Brad and Dane are very friendly. While there is not much in the area, it’s a great place to spend a few hours drinking really nice beer and talking to the locals. As of my last visit there was not a lot in the way of food. It is a must visit for us when in Orlando, though. Dane is very warm towards beer enthusiasts and on our 2nd visit gave us his original Afterglow IPA tap head. There are not any "big beers" yet, but we have been very impressed with the taste and consistency of almost every style of beer they produce. Being from South Florida we love the Summer Ale, which is brewed with coconut | | GoGators (10), Florida | | April 27, 2010 Nice little neighborhood brewpub. The owners are very friendly and usually around to talk about their passion. The brews are pretty tasty, and of course extremely fresh.
The brews are very reasonably priced, and you can purchase 5 8oz brews for $10.
Nice place to spend and afternoon. | | dchmela (96), Orlando, Florida | | March 23, 2010 Small tap room in a burb of Orlando. All the beers the brewer makes are on tap and most available for take out. The owners are great people always come out and chat and have a brew. Food consists of chips. It’s like a townie bar with craft beer. | | satan165 (101), River Grove, Illinois | | September 6, 2009 a must stop in central florida. owner/brewer brad has a wonderfully comfortable and clean area to share his beer with the world in. the regulars are about as nice a bunch as exists anywhere. can’t say enough good things about this place. | | sebletitje (200), Enghien, Belgium | | August 30, 2009 Location in small industrial area on Center st.
Inside is very cozy and clean with some coffee tables and sofas to sit and enjoy the beer.
There is a bar that fits about 6 people and all the beers are on tap. A glass window gives view on the brewing equipment.
Not much ambiance to speak of, some laid back classic rock and a few locals enjoying a beer. Food consists of popcorn and chips and pizza delivery. They have beer for sale. Overall the samplers are fairly priced with 3, 8oz glass for 6$
Brad was available to chat about his beers. He is doing some good things there, and he deserves a better distribution outside the Orlando area.
Nice location close to road 50, just a little out of way from I4 Tpa-Orl highway. Surroundings are nice with the lake nearby and good scenic route 50 back to Tampa. | | hopscotch (187), Vero Beach , Florida | | July 27, 2009 From the outside, it’s just another industrial/office park brewery. On the inside, the tasting area and bar is quaint and homey. The brewer and his wife tend the bar and dole out large and small glasses of his beer. The bar is really cool... looks homemade with the sheet metal look (I’ve always liked that), but the wood work is nice. It’s quiet and has limited, but very comfortable seating. A great place to sit with friends and enjoy a few brews while leafing through one of the many beer books laying around on the coffee tables. Prices are reasonable with mixed sixers available to take home. |
