LCBO Store 511 - King & Spadina

Visited most recently in January 2018, been here a couple times. There are a few aisles of beer, a couple of which are dedicated to craft and imports. Found a couple new-to-us breweries that aren't at other locations at the moment. It gets a ton of traffic, plus it's within walking distance of Bar Hop (we had just enjoyed dinner there on this occasion). Worth a stop in as it's so convenient and you might find a few interesting bottles. Helpful staff. (3/7/12/NA/9/13) 70

Visited on a Friday night. Nice location downtown (and not too far from our AirBnb). Large and clean place like most LCBO. Service was friendly but I didn’t have any question for them. Selection is mostly of locals but there’s also a few bottles from Europe/United States/other provinces. I was pretty happy to find some dirt cheap Oude Gueuze Cuvée René bottles. Many IPAs weren’t stored in fridge unfortunately. The better part about the LCBO is the price, they are usually unbeatable. The selection, despite being much better than the equivalent stores in Québec (SAQ) still isn’t great. I would likely come back again if I am in the area but mostly because there’s not much else to buy beers around here.

Nice location. Looks like a supermarket with the same kind of service. They had some Ontario craft, and a few Belgian, UK and US beers. One ice cider too. Prices were decent for Dutch standards.

Although large, this location has only a slightly above average of craft beer available.

The main appeal for out of town visitors is likely the central location, and proximity to Bar Hop. In terms of service and decor it is similar to most other LCBOs, it is slightly larger than some and generally has a decent selection of beer. A centrally located state alcohol store - quite large and bright and airy. The beer selection wasn’t huge but the big draw was being able to pick up a few good ice ciders. (Visited 6 November 2012).
