Certainly worth visiting for the interior alone. There’s loads of creepy marionettes and puppets adorning the walls. The service is Belgian. The selection’s bigger than most cafes in Brussels. Draft lambics were available in addition to a decent selection of the more common sours. Prices were steep, befitting of the very touristy clientele. Overall, not bad.

Nice pub with a great selection of beers, prices are a bit steep but I suppose that comes with the location next to the Manneken Pis (what’s the attraction there?) Staff can be a little too brusque for my liking but the I’ll forgive them if the keep the beer list growing.

(Visited July & Oct 2012) Great beer café just by the Manneken Pis, south of he Grand Place. They have a nice outdoor area that is very nice when the weather permits. But don’t forget to go inside, the interior is quite magnificent. The place is fairly small with wooden chairs and tables occupying the areas that are not occupied by puppets, instruments and other necessary stuff hanging on the walls and in the ceiling. Mainly inhabited by tourists. Service is swift and efficient. Food is mainly light bites and nibbles, but quite good. Five draught beers, with Lindemans Faro and one pilsner always available, the other ones rotating guest beers (a couple of beers from Senne on my visits). The list of bottled beers is quite good, with more than 100. Not many rarities, but I managed to find something new to try. If not, it’s always worth a visit for the great atmosphere.

Fantastic place! Great place to talk with you friends and drink a good beer, without all that hustle of Delirium. The decor deserves note 11! Fantastic!

Le Poechenellekelder is a good-looking place in a very accessible and popular location in Brussels. The service was very good - one of the staff cleared room for us and set a table after we walked in on a very busy day. The selection is also above-average for Brussels, but a little underwhelming for anyone looking for more unusual bottles.
