30 reviews for Lee’s Discount Liquor
| tennisjoel (29), Shakopee, Minnesota | | November 10, 2009 Visited the Lake Mead location on my trip to Vegas. Didn’t seem like the best area of town, which is odd since it was close to Summerlin (where we stayed) and that seemed like a more well to do area. Pretty good selection here, although I was hoping to find more Deschutes beers and they didn’t have much of anything interesting from them. Picked up the following: Stone RIS, Alaskan Smoked Porter, Grand Teton Lost Continent IIPA, Lost Coast 8 Ball Stout and Indica IPA, Blue Frog IIPA, Firestone Walkers Reserve, and some Woodchuck Seasonal Cider for my wife. | | hellbilly (64), scottsdale über alles, Arizona | | July 8, 2009 i hit the one on lake mead but they are all pretty much the same. i did see a lee’s discount liquidation store on rainbow but couldn’t stop... intriguing sale booze...
this is the place to go for wine and liquor. they don’t carry a lot of stuff i can’t get in AZ. but they did have really good pricing on most of the belgians (cheaper than i’ve ever seen...anywhere). most of the really bargain stuff was stamped on their cases with dates which were 16 months old!
anyway, when in LV this is the place to go... | | Cletus (175), Connecticut | | April 17, 2009 Good selection at both of the locations I visited (they also have a store in Henderson). Picked up some beers I couldn’t find anywhere else and they also stock the locals that bottle. | | knightdr (12), Valrico, Florida | | November 20, 2008 Very good prices/selection compared to other options close to strip. Was able to completely stock suite with liquor/macros and great selection of crafts for me and the real beer drinkers in our group. Visited the strip location about 5 miles from Mandalay Bay. Would have saved a ton of money even if I would have taken a cab. Rochefort 8 was almost $3 cheaper a bottle then what I am used to paying. | | marcus (91), Sacramento, California | | October 10, 2008 This is easily the best retail beer store in the Las Vegas area. Beer distribution in Nevada leaves a lot to be desired, yet this store carries a lot of good Belgian and German beers, and many U.S. microbrewery beers including some hard-to-find bottles. | | ajm (168), Los Angeles, California | | September 20, 2008 A clutch stop when in Vegas. Walls of liquid regional quirks like Squatters and Wasatch semi-rares like Black Butte XX a fine international selection discounts on spending sprees. A shining example of what a liquor store ought to be. | | kmeves (97), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin | | May 4, 2008 [ Updated September 3, 2008 ] Very nice selection of beers but really nothing rare. Any place that carries the complete line of Stone beers is ok in my book. Neighborhood is somewhat seedy as a lady of the evening walked in as I was checking out (good entertainment for a simple midwesterner). | | douglas88 (53), Salt Lake City, Utah | | March 19, 2008 [ Updated August 6, 2008 ] Flamingo Rd. location. Easy to find and a huge warehouse. A really nice beer selection, perhaps 500 plus beers. A ton of German, U.K., and Belgians, plus a bunch of U.S. Not amazing, but not bad at all. They didn’t have anything rare, but had a bunch of Stone, New Belgium and others. Went to the Lake Mead location July 2008. Similar to the Flamingo Rd, some Black Butte XX, a bunch of Belgians, and a 3 Fonteinen. | toddkrem (4), Las Vegas , Nevada does not count - explanation | | December 31, 2007 [ Updated October 1, 2008 ] South Eastern location. Probably the best beer selection in Vegas. Great selection of Vodka’s. Good prices and selection of wines. Sometimes has samples of wines and liquors especially on the weekends. Sells 22 oz singles and has lots of beer specials. I can get a six pack of Full sail IPA for 5 dollars. | | Poperinge (121), Cowtown, Alberta | | October 31, 2007 Can’t believe I haven’t rated this place. Although not Bottleworks this place is great. Bought my first Rochefort 10 here about 8 years ago, fuck it cost allot then much cheaper now. Ton’s of cool imports, lots of American mircos and a good selection with some serious deals. A must if shopping for hotel and driving beers while in Vegas. |
