| happyhoppy (14), , France | | April 13, 2012 A good stop for food if you got a train to catch in a while..They offer their special micro-brasserie beers which are good and do a good pairings of beer with the local cuisine from the region. | | diabel (25), Aarschot, Belgium | | March 17, 2012 Just passed here when I had to change trains and the time to change was rather long. Had samples of their house beers. Service was not very fast, but it was a busy moment. I did not try the food. If you are passing by in the station and have some time to spend, this is a good place to sample their beers. | | bentotheben77 (10), flers en escrebieux, France | | October 10, 2011 Very good place. Good palce with a really pub’s ambiance. | | yblosc59 (19), Lille, France | | October 2, 2011 Best to avoid if you want to taste good beers, for the unaware tourist. | | Dark (12), , France | | September 27, 2011 Sympa de temps en temps pour manger entre amis, bières produites sur place correctes. | | kubilai (12), , Quebec | | September 25, 2011 Beer not bad. Place well situated on Place de la Gare . Food ok. Great service. A bit expensive for what they’re offering. | | Pelik59 (18), , France | | September 1, 2011 On y mange plutôt bien | | Travlr (638), Washington, Washington DC | | August 9, 2011 Large generic chain brewpub. Food was disappointing, and the beers were pretty average. Could be more adventurous. | | jbrus (133), Delft, Netherlands | | April 25, 2011 Nice ambiance and friendly staff. They had 5 beers on tap - all standard and not too good. The food was not too great. It’s not really bad but I can do better myself. That’s not why I good out for a meal normally. | | Marko (169), Split, Croatia | | March 5, 2011 Yup, a chain brewpub, but the original one (or one of the original ones). Located just across the street from the Lille-Flandres station, so it’s doable even if you’re switching trains there (for some reason). Standard genuinoid brewpub look, more or less cozy, people going there to eat etc. Visited it with a bunch of friends, they had 5 beers on tap: the regulars - Ambrée, Blanche, Blonde, Brune, all drinkable but nothing too special + the winter seasonal L’Avalanche - a wheat with spices, slightly better but not all that different than the regular Blanche and a strange choice for a winter seasonal. Good service, spoke English if I remember correctly. They had 3 bottled beers too, the Triple, Belle Province and the new Lilloise, all contract brewed by Saint-Germain. Free wifi if I remember correctly (required some manner of registration though). All in all a nice place to rest a little, probably eat too, though it was a bit expensive for our tastes. |
