Beerwise I think this is the best bar in Lyon at a very nice location. Its divided in 3 rooms (maybe more!). We stayed in the first room just opposite the bar to be able to order beers easier. One of the other two rooms was closed so everybody else were going in the second room. Nice selection on tap and even better in the bottles list. I would just like to find some more French beers on tap. Prices were OK for the beers on tap, some bottles were expensive some were OK. Service was good. Dried sausage and cheese plate was good too.

Pleasant beer bar by the Rhône. About 15-20 well-thought-out beer on draught, with a 12-page bottle menu. So far so good. But be warned that it is eye-wateringly expensive, even for France. 6.50 € for 250 ml of craft beer. Ok I’d rather pay that than 3.50 € for 250 ml of mediocre beer but it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t warn you. Some French and Belgian selections from the bottle menu seem more reasonable. The draft concentrates on Belgians with some de Molen, Rogue and Mikkeller.

beer bar opposite the North river in Lyon, just around the corner from popular food areas and about5mins from the ancient cathedral. cellar-like as you descend down a few stairs to below ground level. walls are whitewashed with assorted imagined lewd beer scenes and assorted cobbled together furniture made from repurposed casks etc. Bar on your LHS as you enter with up to 15 beers on tap and a further 150 or so bottles stored in fridges. Good variety of bees but sadly very little French stuff on draught, focussing more on typical craft offerings of Mikkeller, To Ol, de molen and a few beligans. Prices are pretty high starting at 4.50 for 25cl of local wit to 32.00 for a pint of 13.1% barley wine! Bottles are similarly expensive with a 330ml of brewdog punk costing 7euro, local French beer 8euro, all the more shocking given it was an IPA was over a year out of date! the barman was made aware of this and did not care and refused to offer even a partial refund. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY! Minimal food selection of cheese/sausage/terrine plates at okay prices and small selection of merchandise available Worth a visit but probably best to stick to draught!

Yes, this is the all-around best beer bar in Lyon. The interiors are pretty great, with funny paintings with beer themes. The bottle list is rather large, with many Belgian, Scandinavian, and American brews (obviously the latter category was irrelevant to me). The tap list was pretty nice, but it was tilted towards expensive Danish beers when I was there (that said, it was expensive, but about the same as Torst or Churchkey with larger pours). They had three French beers on tap when I was there, but one of them was Colomba, which is widely available. Strangely, they also had a Green-dyed St. Patrick’s beer, which would be frowned upon in all American beer bars. The nice thing was that they were playing folk metal both times I was there. The food looked pretty good, even though I did not indulge (I also did not look at the prices).

Really expensive beer. Doesn’t worth the visit. Crowded rock club appearance place in a demi basement next to the river. Wide selection of craft beers, mainly french and belgian, with a good selection of german, british, american, canadian and scandinavian ones (about ten or less per country). Really high prices for all the beers in the menu. The 5/6 beers on tap are extraordinary expensive (14€/pint). As an advice, I should recommend customers to check the date of expiry of the bottle before sipping it. My Goose Island India Pale Ale date of expiry was may/2014, 5 months before my visit.

Great beer bar with outstanding selection. I had Mikkeller green gold and Liquid Mistress from Siren on tap Great bottle selection, they have a book with ~ 15 pages. Highly recommend!

Nice beautiful bar well located in Lyon. Music is good (old Metallica & other similar things). Service was friendly and knowledgeable of the beer scene in the area. Beer selection is quite good. The tap selection included some French beers as well as Belgian, American and nordic beers. A tad too much "Stout / Big beers" forward for me, but the quality was there (To Ol Liquid Confidence, Westbrook IPA, Mikkeller Black Tequila among others). Bottle selection is decent too. There’s not a lot of food, but beer bars in France usually have a very high quality cheese/charcuterie plate. Here, the bread could have been better, there was only one cheese and the "saucission" was average at best... for 14 euros. The main/only problem here are the prices. Bottles and even tap prices were heavy, even for France. Certainly the best beer bar in Lyon... that may explain why they don’t seems to care at all about the high prices.

For me, the only beer bar in Lyon : serious selection of Mikkeller, Nogne and belgians beers, good ambiance, prices are ok.
