Was in over the Christmas holidays and forgot to rate it. A very modern feel to it, BUT! I didn’t see anything from the outside that actually said Lexington Avenue Brewery. In fact, I bought a logo pint glass and it also just said LAB. In my mind this is a mistake - but that’s me. The food was quite good! I believe I had a beef stew. The beers were middle of the road in both style, selection and quality. Not bad.

Large open bar with plenty of seating around for food. Outside seating when weather permits. Decent selection of taps. I was there just after they opened on a Saturday. Bar wasn’t crowded but people were starting to fill the tables which gave me the impression that the food must be good. A place I have nothing bad to say about.

Hit here for lunch. Big place. Cool curved bar. I should have pointed this out long ago, but literally everywhere we went in Asheville had loads of custom wood and metal work in it - this was no exception. Fermenters behind glass with lots of neon. The beers were just so-so, probably the weakest line up I hit in the town. But the food was great, and again, incredibly cheap. I had freakin’ duck confit sliders and the soup of the day - and it was something like $5. Worth hitting for the food, if not the greatest beers, they weren’t bad.

Really cool place. Average beer. Great food. Super nice staff. They even pulled their projector screen down for us to watch a baseball game. Pretty much any sandwich option will be a winner, and the flights are cheap too.

Went on a Friday night. The place was packed and this is not a small joint. Had a smaller selection of their brews (5 I think). The one that I tried was pretty nice. Prices were decent. Just didn’t have the feel of a typical brewery. It was more clubby/bar than bar/bar. Still if you are a ticker they will surely have several selections you can’t get elsewhere.

I was pretty glad I came here. The food was great. But as a beer place, I was a little disappointed. Only four of their own beers on tap and two from New Belgium (one of which was Fat Tire, which you can find everywhere). Service was hellaciously slow. But I had a great lunch.

Large place with a central bar and front windowsill seating. Food was excellent, beers were just OK. Good service. Live music when we visited on Sat nite.

Located in downtown Asheville. Spacious inside; seems like they are going for a retro theme but that could have just been the Michael Jackson "Beat It" that was playing when I got there. As the case with all my stops in Asheville, this place was fairly busy. I just stopped by for a beer so didn’t try the food. It looked pretty good; typical pub fare. No TVs. They have a very cool large patio area outside shielded from the sun. A handful of house brews on tap, that’s it. I tried the Belgian Wit, which was quite good. One of the better brews I tried while visiting Asheville. $3.75 pints, nice. The limited beer menu will prevent this one from being one of the best stops in town but they are in a great location and certainly contribute to the impressive beer scene in Asheville.

We stopped in here for lunch and a beer sampler. Food was better than the beer, but it was worth the stop. Only 4 beers on draft though. Looked like it might be a cool night spot, as it had 2 spots for live music (a main bar and back bar).

The wife and I were in Asheville a couple weeks ago and decided to check out BeerAdvocate to see where we should visit and we decided to check out Lexington Avenue Brewery since we were close by. The layout of the place was very cool. I ordered a French Dip sandwich which was very good (I can’t remember what the wife ordered). To be honest, their beer was pretty good, but nothing special. They didn’t seem to have anything available besides their brews which is cool (if not disappointing because their beer wasn’t that great). It’s a place that would be worth checking out, but I think it’s probably more of a nightlife spot than a place that true beer lovers would frequent.
