| Stew41 (112), Woodend, Australia | | April 6, 2012 I liked this place. Right in the city in a little laneway that allows the punters to spill out onto the lane. Nice atmosphere but spolit a little on the night we visited given the pre-A League crowd in attendance. Good tap range that is at least on par with the leading venues of the city. Certainly a brilliant post work venue that would have mainstream appeal. | | drpimento (120), La Crosse, Wisconsin | | February 3, 2012 A little hard to find; down a back street, but in a central downtown location. Super helpfull friendly staff. Cask conditioned ale. Lots of local micros of quality and good imports. Full service bar. Nice Ambiance; very comfortable, cozy. Food menu, including a great appetizer list, looks tasty. Prices are fair for the area. Good music in the background. Beer bottle chandeliers. Sports on flat screen tv. | | maneliquor (38), Perth, Australia | | October 7, 2011 [ Updated November 30, 2011 ] Visited one our business trip to Beervana. Was walking around the city on our day off and stumbled past a few neat bars (Taphaus and some others). Was checking out the pub across the street from this and was told they didn’t open until 4 but said we should swing past Little Beer Quarter just down the alleyway over the road. Fantastic building and nicely secluded. They had a decent range of beers including a few special releases which were nice to try. Great service. Had an awesome cigar lounge attached to it on the other side. Didn’t try the food but it looked pretty good coming out of the kitchen. Considering the place had only been open a week, it was very individual and has stuck in my mind long since the trip (and we drank a lot !). Highly recommend this great bar and it should only get better as the staff become more atuned to craft beer |
