Wonderful Urquell pub. Fresh, affordable and easy reachable near the bridge!

Excellent tank Urquell location. Simple bricks and wood layout, with a really cool glass bar revealing the tank. Quick and efficient service. A rather local (pun unintended) feel to the place, despite a location in the middle of tourist hell

Modern interpretation on Czech (70s’ 80s? pub/restaurant?) Very good Czech food; solid service and price; great location and wonderful Pilsner tankova. Dobry chout!

A Pilsner Urquell tank pub, a stone throw from Charles Bridge. This is no tourist trap: you can actually see the tank within its cold box under the bar since the sides are transparent. They also write the date the beer was received for guaranteed maximum freshness. Interior is modern version of a traditional czech pub. Food is the czech classics, made with high standards. As the restaurant is committed to the ideas of the slow food movement, the products come from small producers around Prague. Non-smoking section. English menus and english-speaking staff. Prices are surprinsingly low in regards to quality and location. A true gem. They have an hotel on top that looks pretty according to the web site (www.lokalinn.cz).
