Long Trail brewing almost seems very touristy on first looks. The place was packed on a saturday afternoon with a stiff wait to go with it. Eating wasn’t happening, so I’ll more comment on the beer and service. The selection was very good when it came to their own beers. They offered up plenty of their year round beers to drink+buy along with being able to get some of their more special releases very easily too. The service was great and fast. Everyone was extremely nice there and very friendly. The only real downside was the lack of a real brewery tour. It’s just a open walk around which is nice, but it would’ve been better to have someone give us more info than just walking around.

Had lunch at Long Trail recently. I’ve always found LT’s beers to be decent. I had a Pale Ale and tried the Double Bag for the firstt time. It was good. Fun atmosphere with bench seating and a fireplace. There is a small self guided brew tour which was interesting. I went in the winter and am guessing this is a better place to go in the summer. There is an outside seating area overlooking a river. Seems like it would be nice to sit out there on a warm summer day.

I’ve never had a bad time at Long Trail Brewery and the win here is that I always get to leave with fresh beer to take home. We went recently on New Years Day and it was packed with tourists, locals and skiers who just left Killington. The tap was full of year-round and seasonal beers. I always get the latest Brewmaster Series beer to start followed by the seasonal offering and then finishing things off with the Blackberry Wheat. The wait staff was awesome and our waiter chatted with me about cellaring beer right after I asked if they had any Imperial Porter left from last quarter because I have a few bottles aging in my basement. He sat down and spent some time with us and talked me into buying two packs of Triple Bag. Long Trail is a fine brewery with a non-pretentious atmosphere and friendly employees. I wish they had an official brewery tour but it’s not a huge deal.

Kind of a touristy place. Decent ambience. Ate outside by the water. Waiter (Roy) was very helpful and attentive. Food was quite good. Beer was good. Nothing overwhelming, but nothing to complain about either. Overall, a nice experience

Visited July 27, in late afternoon. A brewery in the middle of the Green Mountains, at US 4 and Vermont 100A. Plenty of parking and plenty of room to eat and drink, especially in the restaurant section, I enjoyed the terrace by the river, but I drink at the bar. I drank their Double IPA, very good, but the IPA was so-so and I had some nachos, they were OK. There was self-guided tour, is I wanted to and there was a store to buy beer, clothing and nik naks!. Nica place, not far from Killington ski resort.

A cool brewery out in the middle of Vermont. I enjoyed the beers but the place was packed and it was hard to order at the bar.

Up here skiing and we got rained out so we loaded up the family and headed over. It didn’t look great from the outside but was awesome. Has a small self guided brew tour which was cool. Good beer on tap plus a nice take home section. Tshirts and other goodies. We had lunch and the food was terrific. The servers are knowledgable and super nice. Really a cool place everyone should check out when in the area.

Big, high-ceilinged pub with an industrial brewery wrapped around it. Nice large windows looking out over a small wooded valley. There is a fairly sizable patio as well which was mighty inviting on the unseasonably warm day that we were here. Friendly service with a decent, pubby menu. Nothing on here is going to blow your mind, but it is a friendly place with serviceable, if not awesome, beer... exactly as an apres-ski place should be. I liked it in here.
