Visited on a Saturday in November 2009. 14 beers on tap, all from Denmark. The young lady behind the bar was very friendly and helpfull. The place was small and cozy. Thankfully nobody was smoking during our visit. Good central location, Barley Wine is just around the corner.

Cozy and relaxed place in the center of Copenhagen. The selection is kind of small (a dozen of beers and ciders on tap) but interesting.

Wide selection of Danish micros on tap. Had 4 samples for about 102 danish kronor (about 10 euro) great if you want to decide which brews/breweries to buy in the stores, Barley Wine and Gamle strands just a block away.

Big minus for still allowing smoking inside. That’s bad. Otherwise: Good selection of Danish micros on tap. Friendly service. The bartender let me taste a sample of beer before actually ordering it which was nice.

Cosy and nice place with a nice selection of Danish beers on draught as well as one real ale on. Also some nice ciders on draught. Friendly service and very helpful with telling which beers/ciders are new, or which are rare, especially after noting I was rating the beers. Will surely be the target of future visits when I am in Copenhagen.

Visited the place yesterday. Traditional pub with a fine selection on taps and others in the fridge. The staff was friendly and helpsome. We’ll come back later.

Visited on Jul 10 and July 11. Fairly rowded place with a nice draught beer selection. Good service and nice regulars. Haven’t tried eating. Not fun that smoking is still allowed, but otherwise a very nice place.

Small and cosy bar where the bartenders used to be prettier (girls those days) although less knowledgeable. Service is always friendly and helpful. Selection of beers is focussed on Danish microbrews and ciders of good quality on tap and a few bottles. Toilets diminutive. Only thing I do not like is that smoking is allowed. Sometimes the smoke clouds are thick and overwhelming.

I really enjoy Lord Nelson. The smoke can be a bit much at times, but if your looking for a good danish micro, this is the place to be.
