Across the street from Van Tue is an inconspicuous restaurant that brews their own, likely from a kit. They were just serving the one Lowin beer, amber and described as German style to distinguish it from the Czech style usually found in Hanoi. What the beer lacks in quality is made up for by the cheerful service.
