gekosoave (9), Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | August 10, 2010 Interesting decor, great place to go people watching in the summertime, though the beer selection was fairly typical. | | italianjohn (127), Penndel, Pennsylvania | | July 10, 2010 Very cool place to take the wife/gf ... bar is surrounded by rocks and a small creek and you can sit around the bar or go up into the treehouse area that has a deck wrapped around a huge tree. The food is good and the beer selection was average with some local micro’s which was nice to see. Definitely a cool place to experience if your around the area. I agree with the captain go for the food and atmosphere. | | TheCaptain (39), Lancaster, Pennsylvania | | April 19, 2010 Went with the wife and found it pleasantly comfortable with a woodsy Sherwood forest lodge feel. The service was prompt and pleasant, the food was great. This might just be a great hang out in summer with plenty of outdoor seating and room for live music. The beer selection is average with few micros and the usual macros. Go for the food and atmosphere but not necessarily for the beer selection. | | afireinside96 (33), Mountville, Pennsylvania | | November 22, 2009 Someone added it so I figured I would give it its first rating. The decor is really cool, everything has a robin hood/treehouse vibe to it. I have been there twice and both times the service was good and the food quite tasty. I wouldn’t really call it a beer place though. The first time I was there they have Victory Prima Pils on draft along with one of the Sam Adams seasonals, some macros, and the usual Irish imports. The 2nd time the only craft tap they had was Sam Adams Winter Lager. I ended up drinking coke. Also of note is that 5% of your bill goes to a charity that you pick from several choices. Worth going for the food but it isn’t a place you will visit solely for the beer selection. |
