20 Very limited selection of craft and dark beers. If you like Old Rasputin (luckily I do) there’s at least one beer for you here. |
52 Decent bar if you’re going to a concert in the area. Decent selection, but there are far superior beer bars around without too much traveling. For ambiance, it’s a loud sports bar where you might expect to find beer pong. |
76 good sports bar with a great selection, gets super crowded with limited bar space |
66 Love coming here after the Astros game. A good selection on tap and plenty of bottles. Nachos are excellent. Gets crazy crowded for ufc and gamenights. Real rowdy atmosphere which is always great. |
54 They have a variety of beers (Stone, DFH, Chimay, Real Ale, St. Arnold, etc.) but don’t expect proper glassware. Most employees here are beer illiterate. The food is pretty good- I recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich- and the selection is satisfactory, but this place is more for the ’Hey, I’m drinkin’ Shiner! I’m a total beer geek!’ crowd. Flying Saucer is about 10 blocks west go there, unless you’re going to a show at Warehouse or The Meridean. In that case, stomach the preppy crowd, have a few good beers, and enjoy your show. |
