Small space of the convenience store given for beer, thus selection is not impressive. Domination of Danish brewereis (especially Mikkeller and To Øl. Few bottles from Belgium, UK and other countries. Moderate prices...

Expensive department store in the center of town. Interesting selection of beers: besides the standard Carlsberg, Heineken et al., the common Skands, Herslev and Leffe, it features a few select beers of several Danish microbreweries, especially To Øl and Mikkeller (mostly their lagers), but also Austmann, Hr. Skovs or Skagen. Several international beers from Malmgard, Slottskällans, and a large selection of Belgian Trappist beers (Chimay, St Feuillen, La Trappe). The selection is limited but some rarities can be found.

Big old fashioned department store in the city centre with quite a limited beer selection; but sometimes rarities can be found… Worth a quick detour!

A fancy food market in the basement of a luxe department store. An ok selection leaning heavily towards organic beers as other fancy groceries do in Copenhagen. Prices seemed slightly higher but the atmosphere here told me to expect that. Drop by & see if anything tickles your fancy when shopping nearby.

Been here a few times when im desperate for some good British import food fare from the great food hall they have. Pleased to find on latest visit they have a good array of beers on offer as well. Quite a mix of Danish and well as foreign medium macro and micro brews on offer. Overall not bad, but the pricing (like the rest of the store) is very much on the expensive side (even for Denmark)

Super Market in the center of Copenhagen. Nice selection of both Danish and foreign beers. The selection often changes.

I have visited this place quite ofthen without rating it. These days it is a part of the celland and it has been moved from the ground floor as the rest of the departments food. I am not sure but it looks as if they have had a new one to buy their beers as the selection has improved considerably. The ordinary Danish macros and micros will be find there but also quite a good deal of Danish and foreign beers that are not so easy to get. I did not see any staff and could see another customer looking from them without success. Definately room for improvement in this respect.

Magasin du Nord - a shopping classic in Copenhagen. A department store in the heart of Copenhagen. In the basement you can find their food and wine department ("Mad og Vin") - a lot of delicious stuff here! There is also a beer section, not exactly resemble a supermarket’s range but either a specialized beer store selection. The selection is better than most supermarkets, many Belgians, Germans and of course Danish microes. All in the better quality range. If you´re looking for something rare or extraordinary, this is not the place. A bit cheaper than the beer stores, more expensive than the supermarket. Very good service - always friendly and welcoming.

Magasin is one of the two major department stores in Copenhagen. It has a good food and wine department in the basement, with a small area given over to beer. There was quite a large selection when I last visited at the end of May, although they tend to have only a few bottles of each. I was after their own brand beers and found two - Fodselsdags Ol 2011 and Paske Ol at DKK 45 each. Other beers available included Fullers Vintage Ale 2010 (one bottle), one Sogaard, two BrewDogs, a Jennings gift pack, lots of Warwik and Herslev, a few from Mikkeller and Beer Here and lots of Carlsberg in its various guises. In the food section there were also non alcoholic ciders and almost as many different fruit juices as there were beers. Prices for some of the more standard brews were cheaper here than in Barley Wine or Gammel Strand Ol og Vin. This was also true in the other big store, Illum in Ostergade (Stroget), which had a good selection of Norrebro bottles for DKK 25. (Last visited 28 May 2011).

Tiny selection of beers from all over the world, also some hard to find scandinavian beers on offer. Affordable prices as well.
