2013-04-29. Overall impression is just a little over the top. The self guided tour was worth the two minutes, but if you have seen a brewery before it was not that different. 8 beers on tap, you are allowed to sample up to 4 based on state law apparently. Most beer geeks will have tried the bigger brands, they had some more obscure ones available, including some ltd release and VT only beers. All the beers were decent, none particularly wowed me. The "Humdinger" series Belgo Sutra was my favorite of the ones on today. Large gift shop. Worth a stop, but its definitely a sampling area and not a bar.

Opening sign had the word "Brah" on it. The whole place had that Brah vibe. Everyone was friendly, but they didn’t really seem to know much about beer. Tour was pretty basic. You won’t really learn much on it. You get a few samplers of stuff not as easily available. Overall, I enjoyed the beer down the road at Fiddlehead much more. The tour guide even said during the tour that they’re not focused on the "beer geek" crowd. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it highlights that this wasn’t really my kind of place and probably not a great match for many users of this site. I’d go if I was in the area, but it would be low on the priority list.

Cool brewery to visit, very eclectic tasting room and shop. Didnt do the tour but did the free samples and bought some goodies.

Really enjoyed my visit, only negative and that’s me being picky. They don’t sell pints, only tasters. Would of hit the spot!!!

Tour was fun am informative. Unbelievable amount of shwag for purchase. The decor remindered me of a tye dyed haunted house. Friendly staff, loads of free samples. 6 beers on tap with two seasonals, the same 6 available for purchase in bottles. Glad i went!

A psychedelic dream/nightmare colliding with a brewery. Fairly dark inside with lots of bright contrasting colours. Ok, so their beer can be very hit or miss, but the service here was great - very prompt, loads of free samples. Most of Magic Hat’s regular offerings and a few seasonals on tap for growler fills. Prices are quite good. Not my favorite brewery but I don’t mind taking a growler back to the hotel room

Arrived just in time to hit the guided tour. Tour was pretty informative and slightly entertaining. The tasting room/merch room was way too dark and quite hard to adjust to after coming in from the sunny outside. They had about 6 beers on tap and all samples are free. It is a very interesting place though and I recommend climbing up the strange thing just outside the entrance.

Cool place. Friendly staff. Sampled all the beers. They need to produce Impromptu. Easily the best Magi Hat beer I’ve ever had. Not much to be purchased in the way of bottled beer. Self-guided tour. Worth a visit.

Quite interesting looking place. Lots of merchandise available. Not that cheap prices. Only 5 beers available in bottles. Didn’t do the tour.
