This place has nice ambiance and great food (get the club it is big and tastes great) the chips are great. Beer selection is pretty good, nice selection of troeg draft and some nice imports. If you are in Harrisburg, stop by this place.

Nice 2 story pub in the downtown area of Harrisburg. Clean marble topped bar on the main floor, seating for 15 or so. Taps range from Yuengling and Troegs, to Bells, Harp, and Guinness. Great help behind the bar, knowledgable about what is available. Can’t comment on the food, as I didn’t eat during any of my visits. Not a bad stop if you’re in Harrisburg.

Our favorite restaurant/beer place in the area. Good selection that is always changing, great Irish food, and a cozy atmosphere.

Good selection of taps and bottles. The taps of Two-hearted Ale, plus 7-8 local-regionals caught my eye. Partook of the special of locally-raised venison beer-b-que sandwich with fries and slaw, all were very tasty. A bit smoky, but otherwise a nice laid-back atmosphere with good service. Got a bottle of Urthel Flamy Dark to take back to my hotel room, which was kinda cool considering you have to buy a whole case at retail beer outlets in PA.

Probably my favorite bar in downtown Harrisburg. The ambiance downstairs is really not much to speak of, but the upstairs is a great place to kick back with a beer and hang out with friends. The service has always been stellar. They’re not beer-geek knowledgeable, but they know what’s on tap and can tell you a bit about them. They always have a nice selection of draft beers: Stone, Bells, and, of course, Troegs. Troegs also brews a ginger beer just for this bar. They use it to make their Moscow Mules (I haven’t had one, but they’re supposed to be great). The food is excellent American-ized Irish fair.

I stopped in on a Saturday night before Easter. This is your typical Americanized Irish pub type bar. The crowd is mostly local 21-30. I was older than most of the patrons, but did not feel out of place. As far as micros on tap, they focus on Troeg and a few regionals like Sly Fox and Victory. They did have Stone RIS on tap when I stopped in, which was a nice surprise. They do allow smoking, and the smoke got heavier as the night went on. Don’t expect a huge selection of taps and bottles, but they make up on quantity with quality. Worth a stop if you are in Harrisburg and have already hit the brewpubs. I would not go so far to call this place a beer bar, but more of a bar with a respectable amount of micros. Warning- parking can be a pain in the ass.

Great atmosphere and crowd, even if they are more on the ’Irish Pub’ side than beer geek side. So there wear Guinness garb out to the Irish pub, that’s almost expected at these types of places. But the good thing is that this isn’t a college puke Irish bar, it actually has some class. Food menu was really interesting, even though the sandwich I had was underhwelming. But the beer selection brought me here, specifically for the Troegs Naked Elf, but I was happy enough finding a new IPA from Paper City. Good place to visit occasionally, but parking can be a pain on a weekend night since it’s right in downtown.

Came here after Harrisburg brew festival, around 1am. Hoppin’ joint, nice tap selection, and quite an eclectic bottle selection. I bought a RR Damnation to bring home. No places downstairs, so we headed up to the room with the couches. Nice place to chill and drink, and nice music selection. Would definitely visit again.

One of my favorite hangout places. Two floors, I like the second one better it is more chill, and plenty of beers. They are constantly rotating what they have on tap, and the people that work there are cool. It can get very crowded on saturdays. Never tried the food here, but i’m sure its pretty good.
