This the second Brewpub visited on the Liffy river near the O’Connell bridge. The waiter was very friendly and we enoyed the sampler tray of their beers. I was able to get a tour of the brewing operation. It was a very compact operation in limited space. We did not have food at this pub. Highly recommended for people looking for more than Guinness.

A place where they have 5 home-brewed beers, always scores good points when it comes to selection. It’s really cheap to taste all of those beers. The guy behind the bar was a really friendly guy, who showed us around the brewery as well. Got to sample a new stout that wasn’t bottled yet. Great place. Must visit!!

A brewpub (a small brewery is in the basement) serving half a dozen of their own brews as well as a full range of mass market piss-poor lagers. Their homebrews aren't too bad on the whole, not as good as the porterhouse line-up though. The 2 that are worth trying are the American Pale Ale (full of pine & citrus, not bad at all) and their bock. The good news is that all of their pints are €4 - happy days. Not much in terms of bottle selection, a handful of German & Swedish imports but not much more. Can't comment on the food, but the atmosphere is decent and the place is HUGE with plenty of cosy nooks and crannies to hide away in.

great idea with the tasting menu. the array seems ok, but not much oomph in either type.

A great little brew pub which I stumbled across entirely by coincidence when walking along the river between train stations. A charecterful pub with seating on different floors and of different types. Its crowning glory is of course that it is a brew pub, with the gleaming metal vessels taking pride of place in the window area. On my visit I met the brewster who happily answered my questions despite being on her lunch-break. A sandwich counter making bespoke creations and a hot food counter with a daily menu. The beers themselves will have been reviewed elsewhere but there is a good range of styles and strengths available. I look forward to my next visit to Dublin specifically to visit this pub!

visited here on our trip to Dublin, enjoyed 4 house beers at the cozy bar. Really seemed to be a regular haunt although it was not very busy for being a Friday. Prices were fair and the bartender suggested places to visit which was very good advice.

Brewepub / bar with a nice Victorian style inside. Went there on two occasions, once it was near empty around lunch time, and the other it was jam packed during a UK football game. I guess you can have the either very alive and noisy sports/bar atmosphere or a more serene and quiet one depending of the time of visit. On both occasions, the food was nothing special. A British/Irish grub with a lot of American inspirations. My steak sandwich pepper sauce was uninspired with a sauce that tasted like it was straight out of the ready to make pack as was the whiskey sauce that my friend had. Burgers were simple as were the fries in very British fashion, chips chunk with not much crunch. Service could be better, never really got a smile out of the staff or that they even looked happy to be there, beer questions seemed to be a bit too much to ask. Their beers were average lagers that you expect from Ireland and only the stout and brown stood out. They had six of their beers on draft and the rest is just the typical Irish pub beers from Bud to Guinness. Value is overpriced for the food quality. Beer is like the rest of Dublin, pricey for the quality that you get. I must mention that Messrs. pints were 4€ and cheaper than any other pints available in town. A good way to support local brews.

A centrally located brewpub with a small selection of house beers, a few of which were good and a few of which were disappointing. Good place to watch sports, the screens are large and plentiful.

Great prices for Dublin and some decent craft beers. I stop by every once in awhile for some "comfort" beer. It’s nothing too exciting but very consistent (and not bad). The service depends on when you are there and if you get a chance to talk to the owner/brewer then you’ll have a great time. If you’re just served by the staff then this probably won’t be your favorite place.

Some nice microbrews, which are all pretty decent. Not really much of a selection beyond that, but the prices are great by Dublin standards. Worth a visit on any beer tour of Dublin.
