84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20
Visited for the first time November 3, 2012. That it will be good for beer lovers between Saint-Jérôme and Mont-Tremblant, because there was nothing except a beer store. Just off highway 117 on your way to the village centre, you won’t see the name but you will see a barrel as a sign (Rolling barrel). From the outside, it doesn’t look much but the inside is so funky, a combination of organic, psychedelic and esoteric, the place is small but country hippy homy place. 21 taps, but only 13 were active, all breweries of Quebec with one of them, a hybrid of beer and wine. They do have another beer in bottle only, a blonde ale. Nice small food menu, all organic, I will try something next time. As for parking, its street only. They have live music on some night, this place should be very active in the winter and summer time. Just a cool place, very different from other place in Quebec!
