Dommage. | | Lubiere (349), Ottawa, Ontario | | January 2, 2011 More than a tap room, this is a full fledged pub, with a large sitting area, a nice pizza and sandwich menu, the main DDC brews on tap, some rareties, easy parking and friendly service. Wifi. Worth the detour! | | Rastacouere (581), Montréal, Quebec | | March 19, 2010 Visited on the Saturday evening of the second anniversary, so this was certainly not representative, but the place was packed and lively. The selection was obviously stunning with 2 of their oak-aged specialties available for take-out at very reasonable prices. All in all, we had a great time and chat with the owners despite the busy state of affairs. While I certainly don’t prefer the atmosphere, patrons and feel of the Montreal location, it makes a very worthy stop when going up or coming back from the Laurentians. | | JulienHuxley (64), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec | | January 23, 2010 Visited on a Saturday afternoon, very quiet, there were a dozen people at the most. The pub is sparcely but well decorated. The most annoying part of our stay was the service, very slow and not very knowledgeable, the two waitresses were much more interested in talking to each other than waiting on customers. The only service points I give are because the way the beer is served, in clean, appropriate glassware. We had some food and everything was fine, the prices are very reasonable and of course the quality is there. (136e rating d’établissement) | | punkska101 (29), Chambly, Quebec | | August 21, 2009 Ugly place from the outside, the interior is better. The service the day is want was really slow we were 10 no more. The beer selection was the same than the one offered in bottle. I would like to have seen unregular beer just like at the Montreal location. You can see the brewery from the tasting room. The food selection is small but good. Way more relaxing then the original pub. | | flx (10), Quebec | | June 21, 2009 An old IGA converted to brewery. Ambiance is chill and relax. Beer selection is very good and those are almost always awesome. A must to visit in St-Jérôme for beer amateur. | | MartinT (469), Montreal, Quebec | | June 1, 2009 Not much of a looker from the outside, DDC’s microbrewery taproom manages to be comfortable on the inside with its bric-a-brac furniture and windows onto the microbrewery. The food menu is slightly more developed than the Montreal brewpub’s. The panini with prosciutto and fig jam I had was delicious. The beer selection is mostly based on what they bottle, so don’t come here expecting to find rarities. But if you are complaining about the selection here (all DDC high quality brews), you are one spoiled beer geek that needs a reality check. | | Hoser (137), Cowtown, Alberta | | March 29, 2009 [ Updated October 3, 2009 ] More light than the downtown brewpub, like the fact you get to s see all the posters from their house artist, got to sit with some of the brewers and the owner. Same great selection of beer and better food than the DT location. |
