| BrewDad (360), Olympia, Washington | | May 8, 2012 Fun spot great beer and terrific atmosphere. This is a great place the bartenders put on quite the show. Great east I loved being here. Glad I stopped. | | DaSilky1 (66), San Diego, California | | December 29, 2011 Been coming here since they opened in late summer and it’s become the most frequented of places on my rotation...its close-ish to my house, has a nice vibe and isn’t filled with neighborhood stereotypes since it’s in a part of downtown no one really lives in, theres always something good on tap, and they have awesome fucking cheesesteaks.
The headbrewer, Derek Freese, is gonna bust out some amazing beers in the future guaranteed...even his first few beers on their system are tasting nice, but he’s got some serious talent to unleash onto san diego, I actually brewed my first all grain batch with him in his garage, which turned out wonderful.
Definitely my favorite amongst scott blairs beer bars, and the fact that its a brewpub with a talented brewer, will only make this place continue to shine.
| | badlizard (109), San Diego, California | | December 26, 2011 Cool spot with nice looking faux stain glass windows. Good selection of beers on tap with a very limited selection in bottles. Service is above average and the food is really good (though the menu is limited to steak sandwiches and waffle fries). The Piggy Back fries - waffle fries with cheese, chives, onions, and bbq pork - are damn good. The house brews (it is a brew pub) are solidly above average as well. |
