80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 deaconmike (19) Roswell, Georgia | June 9, 2013 Great pizzeria / brewpub in Anchorage. Good variety (around 16) of their brews on tap. Very popular place; I was visting on business and made it here a couple of times - the place was always packed even late at night. Lots of locals coming in to get growlers filled. Food is outstanding. Excellent pizza - some unique offerings. I had the chipotle steak pizza. Getting some House sauce (mix of their marinara and pesto) for dipping crust or, better yet, cheese sticks. If you are in Anchorage, this is a worthwhile stop. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 Sledutah (208) Utah | January 30, 2013 Nice big pizza place. The parking lot was packed, so we almost passed it up because we didn’t want to wait, But glad was gave it a try, no waiting and sat in the bar. The pizza’s were great, service was fast and friendly. The beer was average at best. | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 Gription79 (26) Bountiful, Utah | January 26, 2013 A great pizza joint. The pizza was fantastic, the beer was meh. The beers that we tried were not bad but they were not anything exciting. Good food, okay beer, great service. I would go back for more of their pizza. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 16/20 SHIG (178) Anchorage, Alaska | April 18, 2012 Ate here my first night in Anchorage. Very nice selection of regular brews and five seasonal rotation taps. Service was quick and knowledgeable. The crowd was the problem, but I guess it’s because the food and beer was excellent. Worth the wait! | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 hombrepalo (101) Chicago, Illinois | April 9, 2012 Wow amazing pizza and great selection. Reminds me of Piece here in chicago, just bigger and a larger selection of beers. The pizza itself is pretty damn good. Porbably the second best pizza behind Piece. The place is large and loud. Sevice was good for what they had to deal with. Selection was good, around 16-20 taps, all available in sample sizes. Overall a cant miss place to go when in Anchorage. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 BrewDad (413) Olympia, | March 15, 2012 Pizza and beer. Is what you need they have it. Great line up of regular style ales. Terrific pizza and very family friendly. | 86 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 17/20 CheersMate (147) Fremont (Seattle), Washington | February 22, 2012 I liked this place. It had great service, at least at the bar it did. The female bartender was extremely prompt; she was also quite attractive, to boot. I didn’t try the food, because I don’t really eat bar food during the week, but everything looked appetizing. They had a great selection of their own stuff. I’ve been into brewpubs where they barley have their normal lineup, but this place had lots of stuff on tap, e.g. the Darth Delirium was a nice surprise. The ambiance was decent. I’d just call it your average, somewhat open, brewpub feel. I’m giving value a perfect 10, because the woman behind the bar hooked me up with a free tasting, so I consider that great value; however, their prices weren’t bad, and had many different size options to choose from. You must stop here, when visiting Anchorage. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 troyc (147) Oklahoma | October 12, 2011 Stopped by for a late lunch and to try some beers in early September. It was a weekday at 3pm, and this place was still packed. A good sign! The pizza was really good, and the beer was decent as well. Lots of beer on tap and the place had reasonable prices too. A good place to stop if you’re in town. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 nearbeer (165) Knoxville, Tennessee | May 20, 2011| Updated September 28, 2011 The place has an open-area layout, is loud, and almost always has a waiting line. I usually hate that combination, but somehow it works at this place. Maybe because I was able to walk right in and sit at the bar. Excellent and knowledgeable service for me, but I could see how elsewhere it’s probably hit-or-miss, as at any pub. Had a nice chat with some locals, and seemed to be a mix of mostly locals and a few tourists; later when cruise season gets into full swing it looks like it might be a trap to avoid. Beer selection is very good; with heavy emphasis on regionals and a few house brews. Prices reasonable for AK and pizza is excellent. Some great live music at times. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20 lancehenry (16) , | May 13, 2011| Updated September 28, 2011 Awesome gourmet pizza’s. Not a bad selection of beers. Place was pretty crowded when we were there, waited about 40 mins for a table. Worth it though. |
