| DonSimonsi (10), , | | February 11, 2012 An unpretentious gem with a great selection, a real mixed crowd and sea air. They have samplers and they let me try a lot without charging. The manager was a really nice guy and I found the service to be great. A must if you are in the area. | | drpimento (120), La Crosse, Wisconsin | | January 7, 2012 Odd place. Semi outside. At first it took me FOREVER to get served; I almost had to beg. Then it was so-so. Finally, kind of related to the btender and got much better service. Live music is fantastic.Be much better to be hre during warm weather. | | BOLTZ7555 (42), Phoenix, Arizona | | January 1, 2012 Located right on the water...very relaxed atmosphere and extensive tap list. If not
For the ocean, really nothing to see or look at. A few tv’s to watch the game and had a pretty lively crowd that had gathered. Great find for beer...not much else. | | foamyhead (17), California | | November 27, 2011 Nothing like an afternoon at Naja’s. It feels a lot like being in San Diego.
Great list, nice folks, chill vibe. A++++ | | MattH (30), California | | September 22, 2011 Been here a a half dozen times. Pretty good selection. A ton of taps. Prices range from $6 to $9 depending on which beer you choose. To me these prices would be alright for a nice place, but this place is a dive and I think the prices should reflect this. Overall though, this place has by far the best beer selection in Redondo Beach which is why I will be back. | | Oakes (591), Gibsons, British Columbia | | September 9, 2011 Typical pier bar by the water, but the beer is served way too cold. Like Florida temperatures, and California’s coastal air is quite a bit cooler than Florida’s, so it seemed like overkill to me. The tap list is fantastic, a wide range of all sorts of stuff. A good supporter of small and local breweries. Not a ton of totally wild choices - I think Bruery Mischief and Pliny were the most exotic things on tap - but a good spot to find lots of tasty beers. | | bernatbeer (65), barcelona, Spain | | August 2, 2011 Larga lista de cervezas en tirador, casi 100.
también muchas botellas algunas vintage.
Sitio interesante en el puerto de redondo beach | | gd4evr (31), Mar Vista, California | | April 23, 2011 Went to Naja’s for their (annual..?) IPA festival this week.
I need to move back to California. I had been hearing about this place for years and finally made it down there. Cool spot right on the pier in Redondo Beach. Has a super chill vibe and a very extensive tap list.
Got to try a bunch of Cali IPA’s and no one does it better than they do. Got to try some stuff I’d only ever heard about; Just Outstanding IPA, Tustin IPA, Blind Pig IPA etc.
| | toxichop (18), South Gate, California | | April 17, 2011 [ Updated November 15, 2011 ] I really like this place. I dont come here as much as I used too but I love the fact that it is an awsome bar in the boardwalk. Love the fresh air, the water and so on. I always find a good spot and have met a few beer geeks and other cool people. The food is typical but is good, is just a bit pricey though. Sometimes there is a lot of good beer on tap and sometimes only a couple of good stuff. But for the most part there is always good beer. The bottle list have seemed to go down under. There used to be so many good bottles but lately they have nothing truly special. I havent asked if they have anything hidden though. Maybe I should asked. Overall, an awsome place, they just need more jewels on tap. With 88 taps and only a few exotic brews, thats kinda sad otherwise I would give this place a hundred. | | womencantsail (45), Home of Rebecca Black, California | | April 11, 2011 The place itself looks like your typical bar. The lighting is low, there are small tables with stools all around and an L-shaped bar at the front. There is also some outside seating, but it was a chilly evening, so not too many people were out there.
The beer list is fairly eclectic. They do have plenty of the usual macros, but quite an extensive list of American craft and imports. They had a few interesting bottles as well, but nothing I can’t normally get.
We had pours of Victory at Sea, Abyss, Chicory Stout, SN Wet Hop (as it was SN pint night), and Strand brewing’s pale ale. If you want to get down to being a real beer nerd, the beers aren’t necessarily served in the proper glassware.
The food was pretty much your typical bar food, but still good. A bit pricey on the food front, for what you get, that is. Still, not terrible. |
