An excellent option if you are looking forward to savor real Dutch beers especially aged beers. Around 20+ on draft and numerous varieties on bottle. Feel free to ask the barman what you prefer and like, they are well informed and offer good recommendations. A classy ambiance, several cheese platters and an impressive copper tap. A must visit for a beer lover.

Brilliant bar with an uncomparable selection of Dutch beers. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommendable when in search for Dutch beers.

Beautiful, old timely, cozy beer bar interior with gorgeous copper tap system. Huge selection of proper glassware. Focuses on small batch, local Dutch beers with a great mix. Bottle list was not too impressive but I think there is a ton of stuff they have not listed so do some peeking around for special stuff. Pours were done perfectly with perfect head formation, correct glassware, and dunked before serving to eliminate and sticky spillover. Bartender chick was super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly a beer expert. I really liked this place. No big food, just smaller cheese and sausage plates to accompany beers.

Nice pub with a big selection of Dutch beers. Some nice old bottles they saved.. I’ve had a 2001 bottle and it was only 6 euros. The staff knows their stuff about beer and are eager to help you pick something that you might like. Beautful location in Amsterdam. Didn’t try their food but there’s enough.

Many different beers, nice place and friendly staff. Anytime I go to Amsterdam I spend at least one night here, drinking real dutch beers.

This is an obligatory stop in Amsterdam. ’t Arendsnest sells Dutch beer. The Dutch beer culture is very interesting nowadays, lots of new brewers and new styles are coming up. In this pub the staff manages to keep informed about what’s happening in Dutch beer. The ambiance is friendly and open minded. The pub is visited by beer tourists, but locals may appear too - good chance you will find me in here.
