Place has a nice clean ambiance with a few tvs at the bar. Lots of good stuff on tap with a fair amount of stuff that is draft only. Food was quite good as was the service. A nice shop as well to buy beer and merchandise. Also do wine and liquor.

Slammed on a Friday evening in funky Holland, MI. Service was reasonably attentive, considering how busy they were. Has a nice atmosphere with plenty of open space, without feeling like a warehouse.

This place makes some good brews. I am not sure of the wine and liquor, so you’ll have to seek other reviews for information pertaining to that. I started out with an IPA, which was delicious. We ordered side salads, a beer cheese dip, and chicken wings. The salads were generous and fresh, but the dip was kinda eh and the chicken wings were fatty and lacked flavor... tasted pretty processed (which they probably were). The pizza looked pretty good tho, next time I would order that. I ordered the Dragon’s Milk brew as a second beverage. Wow! very strong... tastes almost like you’re drinking straight bourbon once it starts to set to room temp. I loved it at the first sip, but once it cooled I wasn’t a fan. Overall a nice place. I love to support Michigan companies, so I would definitely go back. Fabulous brews, decent food and a clean, well-kept, comfortable venue.

Great Place! They have so many more beers that they only keep on tap at the restaurant. A Must when you are in Holland!

Been to New Hollland twice, and felt the same each time... left wanting more. The beer is good, but could be better. The food is good, but could be better. The atmosphere is cool, but could be awesome. I don’t know if that helps anyone. It has a great location, and a friendly staff.

wonderful room with pristine ceiling tiles and well dimmed lighting over the bar. plenty of handles at the bar to choose from and pleasant service behind it. enough one offs to please me, showed up too late and kitchen was closed, nice classification of brews into categories of price points clearly defined on the chalkboard. comfortable room.

Very upscale restaurant/brewpub facility that seems focused on the restaurant - and the food was good (although I cannot remember exactly what I had. does that say a lot ...) Service was blah on a Sat night. Beer is NH, so also a bit blah. Turned out I preferred 8th Street Grille for beer and food a block north.

When the best thing you have to say about a place is "nice facility", you know it isn’t going to be a stellar review. None of the tap beers were excellent, and between three of us we had most of them. Food was pretty good, and I would say if I lived in the area and had kids, I could see going there somewhat regularly, with the food and the kid friendly atmosphere. We spent a half hour trying to get the WIsc-Neb game on, and when it finally happened, it lasted ten minutes until the Tigers came on. Grrrr. Unfortunately this place left left somewhat of a bad taste in my mouth--and that was not necessarily from the barleywine.

Nice location downtown Holland and the beers are pretty good, but the service was slow and the waitress could not explain what it meant on the menu to drink onsite or take home without having to go in the back and ask someone. The terminology was something different, but not difficult to figure out so I was surprised that the waitress would be so clueless.
