Very nice and large converted warehouse. Ample seating. Very kid friendly. Food was very good. Beer not extraordinary but solid. A nice place for a meal.

Stopped in for lunch. Spacious yet lots of more private seating. Excellent menu options and friendly staff. I only had one beer, but of course they have quite a few of their offerings and our server made sure to notify me of cask/bourbon version of one of their beers that I happily jumped at. A good place to get lunch or dinner for anyone, not just beer drinkers. Good times, and will definitely check it out again next time I’m in TC.

Fairly busy, but service was very attentive - note that I have heard of friends who had a different experience with service than mine. Most of the tourists flock to the mediocre pub/brewery down the street thankfully. Ordered a sandwich, Fries, and a couple pints. Food is fairly good, though only a handful of NP beer were available when i was there. The IPA here on tap was VERY fresh. Sure, Right Brain blows this and most places out of the water, but the Peak is still worth a visit before heading to the superior Jolly Pumpkin and the Brain.

I really enjoy this brewpub. My wife likes the food here (as do I), so she’s always game to pop in when we’re in town. The beer is solid, but not remarkable. It’s fairly typical of brewpubs that are essentially restaurants first. North Peak generally has the four or five standard menu beers, a seasonal offering, and another rotator. It can get rather busy come dinnertime, but that’s typical of any tourist town I suppose. I’ve always had good service, and never had an issue with my food. I never leave here dissatisfied.

Meh. Felt like a tourist brewery rather than one that one that was a brewery first. Very big place, and very average beer.

A very nice rather upscale brewpub. They only have a few brews on draft including one on cask. All I tried were very good. The food however, is outstanding. Worth the stop just to eat here. I was not expecting such great food! Everything we tried was top notch. Service was very quick. Prices were very reasonable. A must see in traverse city.

This is a brewpub/restaurant (but more of a restaurant) in downtown Traverse City. There is a large wraparound bar and several TVs, giving it a sports bar look as well. There were not that many taps on when I was there (maybe 8 at most but I think there were less than that) and all were the basic beer styles (amber, pale ale, stout, etc). The beer was not that great either. I ordered a pizza and it was pretty tasty, so at least there was that. But overall, not a beer destination (definitely just go to Right Brain and skip Mackinaw and North Peak, unless you are in Traverse City for a long time and are running out of things to do).

sat @ the bar , bar tender was a little over-worked, run of the mill beers, one pale on cask.

We were there for an early dinner. A decent environment, but I found it a little off-putting for some reason I can’t put my finger on. The only beers on tap were the five "regular" beers, nothing special. My porter was about average, but sounded like the most interesting thing available. The other selections were an Irish red, a dry stout, a pale ale, and a "light." I ordered the Spanish chorizo pizza, which sounded pretty interesting; it was good, but I actually thought it would have been better without the chorizo. Service was mixed: we had to ask three times for a soft drink, but the waitress was helpful in checking about the ingredients in the food. I wouldn’t mind coming back, but I’d probably like to check out one of the other local breweries first if I were back in Traverse.
