Reading some of the reviews I am not sure if the "fake" reviews are still here. The lady who helped me was trying very hard to make a good impression like ny small business owner would/should. Hoser called to suggest I pop in. They do carry a lot of his products. I had not gone in evn though I liver close by because the previous liquor store in the same location sucked. Big very cold beer room with big craft selection. One of he cool things that stands out from nearby Co-op, highlander nd CSN is a wall of beer in singles to make a mixed 6-pack for $16.99. Bring the box back and get a discount on your next mixed 6. At the till they had a row of beers she g what is new this week. For itís size one of the better beer stores in town. Reminds me of Robís short lived store on Edmonton Trail.

Great local Wine & Beer store. Staff is super friendly and informative. Given the size of the store their selection of craft beer is impressive. Probably one of the first stores to actually encourage you to try different styles of beer without bogging you down with pretentious blathering.

Considering the increasing availibility of quality craft beers in Calgary, this place really is average at best. If a consumer really wants a comprehensive inventory to select from, then Willow Park, Zyn, Kensington, and most CoOp outlets have this place beat hands down. Also, the use of this site and database to promote their store is disappointing.

Mediocre selection, and brutal and dishonest service, including having employees/friends give fake good reviews of this store. Donít bother checking out this place.

Quite a nice location on 16th. For a smaller location they have a lot of different craft and import beers. Prices were usually about average, but a few nice deals here and there. They seem to be beating the other liquor stores nearby on prices anyways from what I remember.
Also pretty good wine selection for those whose significant others prefer wine.
Edit June9/12: Went back again, was pleasantly surprised by the new products since my last vist. Madison River beers FTW!
Somewhat surprised by the low ratings of the other members on this site, considering its just a small corner store.

I found the prices & the selection here very good. Itís a great little neighborhood wine & craft beer store. John the owner is always bringing in new beers. The have a íPick 6í wall with about 80 beers to choose from and they are constantly adding new ones to it. Big selection of craft beer in the beer room as well which is really COLD!

This is an excellent craft beer store;
The staff at Oak & Vine are very helpful, yet leave you alone to browse as long as you like without pressure. Itís a clean, neat and classy store, which is pretty rare on 16th ave.
Great selection of beer from AB as well as the rest of Canada, especially BC/Quebec. Plenty of Belgians and a number of beers that are only available in a few stores in the city. Decent number of US micro-brews as well, prices are really good.

Rating edit: A solid little shop with a great rotating selected and a surprisingly good staff. Their singles selection has improved a ton too.
A pretty good little place with a better than average selection. Their "make your own six pack" idea is good, but they need more beers. Its also a bit expensive...$18.84 for Canadian micros. Besides that, their prices looked good (howe sounds for 8.99). The service was okay, not exceptional. Overall, Iíll probably be back.
