Stopped in here on the first Sunday that beer sales were allowed in Alpharetta. Definitely seems like a typical suburban liquor store from the outside. They had a pretty good selection of bombers and the largest variety of bells & dogfish head that I’ve seen in GA. The prices seemed decent as well. Quite a bit out of the way if you are passing through.

I have stopped here maybe a dozen times. Each time is better than the last! The newest releases are on the shelf. The high-end go to beer is there as well. They have a few shelves of singles to cater to us Beer Geeks as well. Prices are very competitive. SERVICE IS REMARKABLE. A+. I have not had a single visit to this place where at least one person has offered to help me. Even if I decline, we will still chat about the most recent beer each of us has had. Great conversations with the staff, each of whom do not know me as unclemattie (the rater). On my most recent visit, I was shown the new crop of Nugget hops that are growing on the side of the store. Just the day before, some local brewers asked to pick some of these for a single hop ale. To be named OCB Ale! When a store has a beer named for them, YOU KNOW THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT in the name of beer. This store needs to become my new "to go to" spot.

I’ve passed this place by at least a thousand times (literally) over the years; it looks like one of the old, rather nasty NASCAR beer & cheap booze joints from a casual outside look, but has a moderate but excellent selection of craft brews, as well as an unexpectedly good selection of single-malt scotches and some other specialties. The service was simply outstanding, Tom (the owner?) is very passionate about craft brews, and enthusiastically took us for a tour of his selections the first time we were in. Word must be spreading about this place, he did warn that desirable short runs and seasonals sell out fast.

The selection for the tucked away area of Georgia is superb. The owner is very passionate about all things beer when I went in and even mumbled under his breath after doing a drive-thru window Inbev Lager sale that he hates selling water. After a small discussion, he mentioned that he gets several cases of the rarities thru his distribution channel. Overall, super nice dude with a good store out in the nether-regions of Atlanta.

This store is a fair drive from Atlanta, but well worth the trip. They have an excellent selection of beers, and their personnel are very helpful and clearly well-trained. In fact, they gave me a souvenir beer glass since this was my first visit. I found a few beers that I have never seen before - which is harder and harder for me to do since I have had so many! Prices are reasonable, neither cheap nor outrageous. I certainly will return if I get a chance!

Awesome little bottle shop with a big dedication to craft brew. I stop in here multiple times a week and more than not find something new. They are guaranteed 2 cases of all of the new releases from Savannah distribution which means all Founders, Bell’s etc... This has become my goto spot when searching hard to get brews.

Great store in the Milton/Roswell/Alpharetta area... average size liquor store with 1 row of craft beer on the shelf and in the coolers. Their selection may be on the smaller side, but they carry great beer! Also, they don’t buy in the huge quantities that other larger stores do, so the beer will most likely be fresher. Lots of bombers, six packs, four packs and a nice singles selection to make your own mix a six pack (or just buy a few bottles). From memory, they had singles of various Stone, Founders, Bells, Weyerbacher and Dogfish among others. You’ll find better singles here than you will at Total Wine down the road. They tend to get the special releases as well. The owners are super friendly and are always willing to take requests. Check them out!

Small, but efficient store with a decent selection of locals, regionals, imports and micros. I guess they have the BMC stuff too, but the good stuff takes up far more shelf space. I actually found two new IPAs that I haven’t seen before at the "better" Atlanta area stores. I will be back to check this place out more often. Helpful staff. Update 9/01/10 This place keeps getting better! Update 20/10/10 Quickly becoming my "go to" place in GA. I got Dogfish Head Bitches Brew there and never saw bottle one at any of the other Atlanta area locations. Update 12/30/10 A second aisle of beer has been started with imports moving over to the new aisle. Keeps getting better and better.
