| happyhoppy (14), , France | | May 21, 2012 A decent micro-brewery in a good location. They serve their regular 4 types of beer on tap. I liked the "brune" . Food was good good too. | | hoju777 (10), , France | | April 22, 2012 It’s like a brewpub in a small town in USA and you shouldn’t really compare the beer to Rochefort 10 because it isn’t really fair and Rochefort 10 isn’t for everyone probably...
But the prices are great! The best value in Paris, probably!!! And it reminds me of USA. There’s lots of larger USA lady tourists there too, if you’re looking for that.
Better than the Moose at least! At least in terms of pricing. | | Velkyal (62), Charlottesville, Virginia | | January 1, 2012 Great atmosphere on a Thursday night, packed to the rafters with people enjoying decent beer. The service was excellent and the beers tasty. Perhaps a tad pricey, but hey this is in central Paris! If I lived in the city it would be my regular haunt. | | ladnewton (129), London, England | | December 11, 2011 Visited on 20th November - place was empty(ish) but had enjoyable steak & chips lunch and a sampler containing their 4 current brews in 150ml glasses - handy if you want to try all the beers and come out reasonably sober. Regarding "steppedup" comment of 16/7 yes they did seem to be placing dining customers at the back of the venue, but on this visit because the place was so empty they offered a choice of seats. On the way out I noticed tables in a set-in bay for drinkers and smokers.
Beers were better than average, and BLONDE was by far the best of the 4 on. Couldn’t spend an entire evening here but nice to spend an hour or so over a meal and some beers.
| | Romain (10), Paris, France | | November 12, 2011 Local beers on tap, you can by small barrels of these. | | JK (163), Uptown, Minneapolis, Minnesota | | October 5, 2011 This brewpub was very close to my hotel in the Latin Quarter, visited on Monday evening. First, I liked the atmosphere. Upscale, with Sinatra and jazz for music. I had the 4-beer sampler for nearly 8 Euros. The glasses were very small, and one was clearly an underpour, so blatantly done that if it were in the states, or if I spoke French, I would have insisted the glass be properly filled. The bartender, and the very pretty waitress were very friendly. You can read my ratings if you want to know the quality of the beers, with my only other complaint being the cost for so little beer. I did not eat. | | steamfreak (26), , England | | September 29, 2011 Seeing as this was apparantly the first brewpub in Paris I’m horrified I’ve missed it til now. I’ve been going to the Frog pubs for years and reckon this is better. If you don’t like fake Irish pubs, don’t worry this is isn’t one. The house brewed beers are very good and the flammekuechen excellent. | | mabel (211), Toronto, Ontario | | July 25, 2011 2010-08. Visited on a Saturday evening last July, we ate a nice dinner of flammekueches (or pizzas on flat bread with mushrooms, frommage blanc, and "lardons" or bacon), and tried their 4 brews on tap. Nice red tables and comfortable red leather chairs were about the room, and there was some funky beat music playing. Helpful staff served us though there was a strong cologne in the air that was a little off-putting. Good experience though limited in the beer department. (4/8/6/9/9/11) 58% | | Lubiere (349), Ottawa, Ontario | | May 30, 2011 O’Neil is a cute German inspired pub. Used to be part of 3B, same menu and beer (blanche, blonde, ambrée, brune). The beers are decent, but for Paris, they’re superior. Friendly service. Sampler is 7.80 euros for 4 samples. |
