The beer selection is good (around 100 beers, mostly in bottles), nothing too unique, but the real stand out here is the food. The concept behind Parish is that each sandwich is created by a locally renowned chef who have taken the once mundane sandwich and turned it into a uniquely delicious 4 star meal. I’ve never been let down, but my favorites are the spicy tuna burger, the Schlesinger and the Campbell. Also, Parish serves up a fantastic bowl of mac and cheese.

Stopped in here on a walking-and-drinking tour of Boston, and it was in perfect place to wait out a winter rainstorm. The atmosphere is a little sterile, and feels like a typical new-ish cafe: clean, modern, and safe. The staff is nice but not knowledgable about beer; it’s fine, though, as they were pretty much all attractive young women. We didn’t eat, and I get the idea that if we did, I would have rated this higher. The sandwiches looked downright incredible, and I heard about the multi-chef sandwich concept to the place (great idea, and I’ll be back to eat). The beer menu has some neat local and regional things; I tried a Butternut Moo Thunder and Middle Ages Wailing Wench, and tried my buddy’s Atwater Vanilla Java Stout. My other friends got a red and blue Chimay. Just a little on the pricy side, but probably par for the city. Nice little cafe with some cool beers and a (presumably) awesome sandwich list.

Great spot - food is awesome, priced right and they have a wonderful selection of beers to choose from. One of my favorite spots to meet friends for Friday night dinner. Staff is also incredibly friendly and they know their beers!

Located in the lively busy part of downtown. Good luck for parking. This is a pretty decent restaurant with a half-trendy style. Nice patio in the front. Food is mainly fancy sandwiches and burgers. Surprisingly good original sandwiches. Quite decent food and not too expensive considering the half-trendy style of the place. Tap list is nothing to brag about. About 15 taps with half being crappy stuff (Guiness, Blue Moon, Miller) and half widely available micros. Bottle list is a bit more interesting with about 100 different beers consisting mostly of classics like Arrogant Bastard, Chimay, Anchor and others. Not a place worth making any kind of detour but if you have a hotel downtown (like we did) then this place might be just a few blocks away from your hotel and in this case it is worth visiting for a nice sandwich and a beer.

I probably liked this place more for the food than the beer, although it does have a nice selection of brews to go with thee great food. It was very busy when I went in, we had to wait a few minutes for a table, but not too long (although I could see it taking longer if you were to go in at the wrong time). I had a couple of beers off their list (a Stoudts and a Brooklyn) which was good enough, although quite expensive. The food however was absolutely brilliant, definitely worth the price, I had a delicious Meatloaf sandwich which came with the most heavenly mash potato. So this is a great place to eat, but I personally found it too pricey and crowded to simply drink in.

Great menu makes the decision process quite long. Sandwhiches turn out very good though, i had an egg sandwhich with blue cheese..very hot though. Beer selection in bottles is good with a few good selections on tap. like most things in boston proper, you wont be getting a steal.

Been here a number of times, and while the service can be slow at times, mainly due to the crowds, the sandwiches are always interesting. The pepper blue steak sandwich is quite good, but make sure to ask them not to overcook it, as it has been served dry and tough. Eclectic decor and an average beer list full of mostly local brews. Sierra Nevada Celebration and Brooklyn Black Chocolate on tap during my last visit. Sandwiches run between 8 and 12 dollars with bottled beers a bit on the expensive side.
