| pushkinwow (54), Ottawa, Ontario | | February 3, 2012 Needed a place to eat near Hill Farmstead and this seemed perfect - and it was. There is a general store up front that is sorta small but you can still eat there before 5, after 5 the back opens up. The pizza is some of the best I’ve had ever, and some of salads and other stuff coming out of the kitchen looked delicious as well - not too mention reasonable. There are 10 taps plus 2 for non-alcoholic interesting things (one root beer one something I can’t even pronounce let alone spell but it was still tasty) - a couple from HF and the rest were decent - plus they sell bottles (mostly DFH) and had bottles you could buy as well - had Pearl Jam and Bitches Brew just sitting in the fridge. Atmosphere is great, very relaxed with good service, and on Thursday (night we were there) they had a folk/acoustic act that was very good (and not too loud). Worth the visit. | | fbm115 (13), New Jersey | | November 21, 2011 This review is based on my recent visit to PP for lunch and then dinner on the same day. it wasn’t hard to find thanks to my GPS though i almost past by the place because i saw MARKET but decided to stop bc gps said so! Had nelson from HFS on tap and green mountain pie for lunch. Dinner was hosted by the HFS gang and i had the wings, cheesey bread and a sandwich that were all enjoyable. Overall i had a great experience at PP. Only can comment on the restaurant section and not the marketplace attached. | | j12601 (214), Poughkeepsie, New York | | October 18, 2011 Came out here for dinner after a festival at Hill Farmstead. This place certainly feels like Vermont. Sort of a combination of market and pizza place, with indoor and outdoor seating. There was some live music going on when we came in as well. Good local beers on, including some Hill Farmstead stuff. Pizza was rather tasty, service was quick, friendly (there’s a lot of that in Vermont it seems). Now a part of my must stop list for anytime I’m up at Hill. | | GatheringBrews (13), Derby, Vermont | | October 17, 2010 One of our favorite local spots, the new addition includes a theater and all new bar area and many more taps (I think it’s 12 now, but may be more).
The pizza’s fantastic, the staff is great and the beer selection is always changing. |
